Chapter 1"They're getting closer," Frisk de Fur said, as another bomb shook the small shack.
"I know," Justine Justice replied softly to her only companion.
Before the great mushroom war, Frisk and Justine had lived happily in the warm one room shack upon a hill in Aaa. Now they were trapped in it. More bombs flickered and rattled the windowpanes.
"Well, we best be going," Justine said, getting up from her worn chair.
The two friends gathered up their possessions, there was not much; two gasmasks, and a couple blankets. Justine fit them easily in her raggedy backpack. Putting on her gasmask, Justine grabbed her blunt old sword and opened the door to the outside world.
Her old gray mare was tied up to a slouched fence post. Untying him, she hopped on. Frick lead them through the dirty streets; the sick and hurt lay everywhere. Some called out for help; help Justine wished she could give them. Finally, the old mare got tired and Justin was forced to hop down.
Just then, a boney hand touched her leg.
"Please, save my son," The woman, begged, holding up her infant child. "I am weak, I cannot make it to Ooo, but he has a hearty constitution like his father. Take him with you, I plea."
Justine touched the child delicately, and then held him in her thin arms.
"Justine, we can't take him, we can barely feed ourselves as it is," Frisk argued.
"Yeah, but we can't leave him, he is only a child," Justine looked up at Frisk.
"Look at him, Frisk, look into his eyes."
Frisk looked at the child; he stared up at Frisk with his large blue eyes.
"Ehh, fine, come on Justine."
Frisk said, spreading his wings, for Frisk de Fur was not human, he was a manicore.
Justine strapped the baby to her back and looked back at the woman.
"I'll take care of him, I promise."
She vowed.
"Be good my Finn."
The woman called to the baby.
At that moment, as Frisk took off, Finn started to cry.
This story is slightly AU because the mushroom war is supossed to have happened 100 years before Adventure Time starts.
And yes, I did name it after a Gorillaz song.
