Hey people, Oceans Eagle here. I was watching Glee the other day and when I saw Kurt meet Blaine I couldn't help but sequel (yes I'm a fan girl). Then my friend introduced me to a site called 'Love gives me hope' and the wheels in my head started turning which is how this one shot occurred.
Disclaimer- I don't own Glee, nor do I own "Love gives me hope".
Enjoy!
He didn't know why he was always on this site. Maybe because of the name. Maybe because he needed to know that love actually still existed. Maybe because he needed hope.
It was amazing how those little stories about love could make Kurt smile. It shocked him that just reading those cute little displays made him grin and actually believe that love was possible. But then he would get off of his computer. Then he would leave his house. Then he would go to school. And there at school, all feelings of love were washed away. At school, Kurt was treated as if he had a third eye in the middle of his forehead; he was treated as if he were a freak.
Kurt had told him about it. He had told him all about the bullying and how horrible he felt everyday. When Kurt had told him this, he had started sending Kurt texts as much as possible, hoping to get him to smile. Then he found out about the site. The site Kurt was always on. And he knew what to do.
As soon as he got home from school that day, he found the site, simply titled "Love gives me hope." He smiled at the name. He was about to hopefully give Kurt hope.
He clicked on the submit your LGMH button and started typing. He typed fast but all of the words he typed were true. All of the words he typed were from the bottom of his heart.
Kurt sighed as he walked through the front door of his house. It had been a hellish day. It had been a freaking horrible day. The young teen needed to smile, he hadn't smiled all day. But Kurt was questioning even if the site could bring a smile to his face.
He typed into the address bar, and a few seconds later, he was on the site. He scrolled through the new entries, barely processing the words, until one leaped out at him. He swallowed hard before reading it. It said;
When I first met you, I knew something was different. You're never afraid to be yourself. Your never afraid to show the world who you are. And who you are is an absolutely amazing person who she never ever change. You have courage that I wish I could have. Kurt H. You give me hope.
Kurt could feel the tears welling up in his eyes. He read the message over and over again until the tears finally spilled. Kurt knew who it was from; the simple word courage gave it away. Kurt smiled through his tears and grabbed his phone, and he texted him.
Blaine, you're amazing, thank you. Kurt texted quickly and sent it to his amazing friend.
Blaine grinned when he got the text. He knew that would make Kurt smile. He knew that Kurt needed to hear the truth just to know how amazing he was. Blaine knew that Kurt was incredible, and now he hoped that Kurt knew it for himself.
So that's the one shot! I know it's quite short but I hope you all liked it anyways. Please review!
