When someone mentions America, what kind of thoughts come to mind?

Most people will say it's the perfect place to live; the land of opportunity, of freedom, of heroes who have given their lives to protect the great nation. It's an escape for those who have been oppressed by their home countries, a safe haven for refugees in times of war, a place for people to start anew, and so much more.

While all those things are true...I am not who I used to be. I don't see myself as America anymore. All I see...is a broken nation. The so called "president" has ruined me.

My economy is shit, and my people are angry. Where is this 'hope' and 'change' you promised them, Mr. President? The only hope they have, is the hope that they'll still have their jobs, their homes, and the hope that other people will open their eyes and finally see that you are not what they thought. Change? Thats all they have in their pockets.

For the last four years, you have brought me to my knees in submission. I am against your leadership ways, but as the personification of America, I had to obey you. I hated every minute of it. You are tightening the reins of my people, trying to keep them from the freedoms and rights they deserve, and I had to sit back and watch.

I have watched every thing you have done, and I am pissed. I am pissed because I can't stop you myself. It's up to my people to decide if you stay or go.

So, Mr. President, what do you see when you look at me? Do you still see the great nation that I am or used to be? Or do you see an angry, brokenhearted man?

Because you sir, are not and will NEVER be my president.

Like I said in the summary, I know this needs more detail. I just wanted to get this out of my system. I'm going to try and come up with new ideas and actually pay attention to detail and all that :) I want to start writing more, but sometimes I lose patience. Which is not a good thing .
