AN: This is chapter one, there should be more. It just depends on school work and things. However reviews (of any kind, seriously, if I suck let me know) are generally a good incentive to get me to write
I woke up, stretched, yawn and climbed out of bed. For some reason getting up on a day during the holidays was always miles more glamorous than getting up for school; Maybe that was because I had time to put effort into controlling my insane bed hair. Still I wasn't intending on looking too amazing as it was the Easter holidays and I was planning on eating as much chocolate as physically possible without being sick. Yes, that was a certainty, this holiday was going to be lovely and relaxing.
I shuffled across the floor in the general direction of the bathroom in order to beat Alice to the shower. As a fine mist began to appear in the bathroom it occurred to me that I was probably going to wake Alice up. To be fair it was her fault as she had "bed withdrawal symptoms" in the morning, still the early bird catches the worm and all that. Although the wizarding equivalent probably had less to do with birds and worms and more to do with seekers and snitches…
"Lily! Turn off that flaming shower and go back to bed! It's the holidays!" Alice's voice yelled through the door less than two minutes later.
"It's ten o'clock! You're just lazy!"
"And you just want to see James Potter!" She retorted. I heard her footsteps fade as she walked away from the door, I sighed and continued with my shower. The water went cold.
"ALICE!" I hollered, switching the shower off, wrapping a towel around me and storming into the room.
"If you're looking to annoy someone, go and prank the marauders. It's time we started our Easter prank war plans" I said half shoving her out the room with her wand and a packet of muggle hair dye which I had sat and altered for about half an hour so that it would not come out even if they hexed it repeatedly.
"Now, remember to put it in any hair products they own," I instructed as I shoved it roughly into her hands.
"Ok Lilly, I've got it" Alice said, a little to confidently and sauntered out the door.
"And don't leave the packet in there! We can't risk them finding out that it fades away after 12 washes!" I called after her, hoping that my prank wouldn't be messed up by some silly little mistake.
With Alice out the room I got changed and brushed my hair. I knew the marauders wouldn't be up yet so I had half an hour to arrange my next little prank. Chilli chocolate. None of the group could resist food, especially something sugary. I intended on presenting them with a small plate of it as a way of apologising for the hair dye.
Soon I heard footsteps clattering down the stair and the shouts of all four boys. Quickly I made my way down to the common room to meet them.
"LILY! What have you done to my hair?" Black shouted unnecessarily loudly. Trust him to be first to complain, he cared about his looks too much.
"Lily, please, I thought we agreed not to start with the prank war until after breakfast. In fact I didn't think you'd agreed to it at all" Remus tried to reason with me. I giggled and grinned at them all, they all looked a complete state with bright blue hair. I was having so much fun.
"Sorry Moony, have some chocolate. It's my way of apology" I handed the plate to the four boys. Seconds later the reaction came.
"LILS! My… mouthisonfire!" James made an attempt at speaking, apparently the chilli had taken effect.
"So, has the Easter prank war officially started?" I asked innocently. The poor marauders couldn't reply and so they all nodded furiously. I turned around and skipped out the portrait hole to get down to breakfast before they managed to hex me.
