I use to think
I didn't care about
what anybody

But I do care.

the attention I got.

with my work
to get some more

how there are so many

So I crave
more attention.
But the world
is flattening
me like a bug now.
No one really cares,
about the crappy writer.

So now.
I'll just try not
to care about anybody else either.

It hurts to smile,
though i have to,
for i want you to be happy.

since i love hearing you laugh.

I do all the things i do.

Have I complimented you?

Have I given you advice?
Maybe I did lie.
Maybe I said those things, to boost up your confidence.
Because dosen't that feel better than being put down once again?
