The 2nd Dark tournament

"Finally, a rest." Yusuke said at school on Monday after stopping the portal from the demon to the human world from opening.
He was just about to get into his normal life of a slacker when he heard Kuabara's friend Okubo1 say, "You wont believe it, my senses are incredibly strong. I can hear a pin drop from a mile away. I could smell if a fruit is the least bit rotten. I can see people's individual muscles and their breathing patterns to predict what they are going to do next. It's like I'm psychic!"
Psychic! Yusuke thought, the second stage!2 He grabbed Okubo and took him to an alley near by, and he called for Boton.
"Yusuke! I was just looking for you..."
"Save it for later, we've got a problem. It looks like somebody's making another tunnel, and we're already passed stage two," Yusuke said.
"That's what I was going to tell you! How'd you know?" Boton replied.
"We've got a psychic on our hands, he has acute senses, I'm sure that old hag, Genki, could train him, if we've got the time. So you obviously know more about this than I do so tell."
"Ok this is gonna be bad so get ready," Boton said as Okubo stared mindlessly, "You know how Sakyo was planning on paying a team of scientists to build a tunnel, right?"
"Yeah," replied Yusuke.
"It turns out he paid them in advance, and it's already finished." Yusuke could only stare blankly as Boton spoke. "But the scientists don't know what to do with it now that Sakyo's dead. So they're holding another dark tournament, and winning team keeps it"
"Why are they activating it already?" Yusuke asked.
"To prove that it works" Boton said, "We've got 6 months to train. We have to win this tournament. Actually this psychic is good news for us, now we've got 2 teams of 5. You, Kurama, Kuwabara, Hiei, and Genki is 1, and Kaitou, Kido, Murota, Mitsunari, and now him, is another."
"Hang on, wont the tunnel be open in 6 months?" Yusuke asked.
"No, the scientist designed it so it can't physically open until the scientists, or anyone else who controls it, says so, so it wont open until after the dark tournament
"Wait, I'm not doing anything until I know what's going on!" Okubo said.
"No problem, Yusuke fill him in, I'm gonna contact Koenma," Boton said.
"WAIT WHY DO I HAVE TO!?!?!?!?," Yusuke said as Boton flew off, "all right heres what's happening..."
1- Okubo is one of Kuwabara's lackeys, he is the one who all of Kuwabara's friends had to pass a test for him to keep his job
2- The second stage is part of the opening of a demon tunnel, in which humans obtain psychic powers
