AN: I rewrote rabbit stew as someone said i didn't have enough build up. I think this one turned out well.

I do not own Fairy Tail

Cobra was sitting by the fire, in Crime Sorciere's latest campsite, finishing cooking the rabbit stew, that was their dinner for tonight. He had succeeded in avoiding doing this chore, for the short time that he had been apart of this... this... strange?... peculiar?... bizarre?... freakish?, yeah they are defenatly freakish, group of mages that called themselves a guild. But Jellal insisted on everyone taking turns at all the chores, so that all was fair.

Cobra hated cooking, well actually he didn't hate cooking, he quite liked it and was rather good at it, he just hated cooking for others, as he could not use his favourite seasonings, yes lets call them seasonings. The fact that, while he was cooking, he had to put up with a sleeping Midnight, and all the wierd arse dreams floating through his mind, and Jellal who, after setting up the tents, was paceing around in his own tent and debating with himself whether he should let Erza know that they arrived at their destination safely. Jellal had picked up and put down the comunication lacrama so many times Cobra had lost count. Cobra growled as he stired the pot, why couldn't someone else do the cooking? He figured he should have known this would happen with the day he had.

First, Cobra woke up to his tent colapsing on top of him, because Swayer had been racing round the campsite, tripped over and went flying into the side of his tent.

Then, after breakfast, while everyone was getting ready to leave, Midnight aproached him, with a smirk on his face, "Heard you talk in your sleep last night. Didn't know you dream about..."

Cobra interupted him, snarling "Say another word and I'll tell Meredy and Angel about some of your fantices."

To make his bad mood worse, while they were traveling, Meredy and Angel talked about their favourite ships at fairytail, which lead to a discusion about Jellal and Erza and then lead to a heated debate on which fairytail mage was best suited to put up with Cobra.

And then, when it was Cobra's turn to scout ahead, he thought he would catch a break, but he was paired up with Richard, who went on and on and on about his brother and love. Cobra just wanted some peace and quiet, or some dark mages to beat up.

And to make matters worse, Jellal had not let them stop for lunch, as he wanted them to reach their destination before nightfall, and then he had the audascity to make Cobra cook dinner.

Everyone had annoyed him today, and he had just come up with an idea on how to get revenge, and maybe, after this, Jellal would rethink about making Cobra cook ever again.

- some time latter-

Crime Sorciere sat down around the campfire, everyone had a bowl of stew in their hands. There was silance as everyone dug in, most of them keeping quiet as they were disturbed by the happy looking Cobra. "This is really nice. Who cooked this time?" Meredy asked, breaking the silance, as she served herself some more stew.

"I did!" Cobra said, with a great big grin. No one had ever seen him smile, let alone grin.

Meredy droped her bowl, Richard and Midnight stoped mid spoonfull, while Swayer and Angel started to gag and run into the trees.

Angel yelled "I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS COBRA!"

Jellal watched as Cobra started to laugh. Jellal looked at Midnight, who looked paler then usual, "He wouldn't, would he?" He looked at Cobra "You didn't!"

Cobra just finished up his bowl of stew and said "Have a good night," as he went to his tent, smiling the whole time. After a long night, it was decided that the Poison Dragon Slayer was permenently banned from cooking duty.

AN: Whether Cobra did anything to the Stew is left up to your imagination . So how was it? Is this one better then the original? Please let me know?
