Chapter 1
The End or the Beginning?

Sky darkened by ash, shattered hulls and splintered decks sinking beneath red-stained waves, enormous sea kings feasting. This is the sight that awaits all who gaze upon the Straw Hats' final battlefield.
Luffy collapses, exhausted, his last enemy defeated. The waves are eager to claim his raft and him along with it; he doesn't resist. As Luffy slips below the surface, he thinks back to how it came to this:
They came for him: the Marines, Blackbeard, Kaido, Big Mom, the Warlords, New World bounty hunters. They ALL came. They numbered so many their ships blocked out the horizon.
Every crew member fought with everything they had, but it wasn't enough and eventually they began to fall, one by one, until only he remained.
As Luffy sinks into the depths, he calls out to his crew one final time:
'Usopp'
'Chopper'
'Nami'
'Robin'
'Brook'
'Franky'
'Sanji'
'Jinbe'
'Zoro'
'... ... I'm sorry.'
The darkness swallows another would-be king.
A/N:
I know, I know. It's extremely short and contains basically nothing. I have almost no imagination, but I've toying around with writing a story for about a year now, so... yeah. I figured I'd post this real quick and see if anyone thinks I even have the capacity to be even mildly entertaining. So let me know. I'f I don't have any talent, I'll delete it and not waste any more of anyone's time.
