The sun was shrouded by dark omni-mus clouds which rapped the star in a cocoon. It was a strange sight to behold, especially on a mid-day in suna (the normally hot desert) ; a storm was brewing, by the looks of things, a very dangerous one. The sand was scorched from the god-like battle the had just taken place between Sasuke and Madara Uchiha, two of the strongest clan heads to ever grace the Uchiha clan. Sadly, no one would ever know of this epic battle, apart from the two who had participated in it. No, it looks like no one would ever know of this battle at all - since Madara was dead and Sasuke is, well... dying.

"Sasuke-teme, you can't die now, I promised sakura-chan that I'd bring you back!" yelled Naruto Uzumaki, the seventh kage of Konoha and the most unpredictable ninja in the whole of elemental nation . Large droplets of tears trailed down his tanned face , as he watched his rival lay in his own blood."Teme who did this, j-just tell me and I'll hunt them down for-"

"NO!" The uchiha reached out and latched onto the blond jinchuuriki, his fingers digging into the teenagers biceps, his eyes feverish with with desperation. "YOU WILL DO NO SUCH THING!"

"But sasu-"

"Please promise me."Naruto's eyes strayed to the left in uncertainty , he ran his clustered hands through his hair, in a sign of frustration. "Naruto, please promise me this one thing – please."

Maybe it was the sign of pure desperation in the criminals voice, maybe it was due to the fact that the boy had never asked anything from him after wave , maybe it was because he was dying – but what ever it was, it seemed to stop the blond from going on a kyuubi infused rampage.

"Okay," a sigh of relief escaped the S-S ranked criminals lips "but you promise me one thing," sasuke nodded with the remainder of this strength. "Promise me that when you get to heaven, you'll say hi to my parents for me... and and tell Sakura-chan that I'm sorry for not keeping my promise,"

"Sure," he whispered, his words slurred. There was a heavy silence that loomed over the pair.

"Naruto I'm scared."sasuke mumbled, his eyes slowly dulling as he stared into his brothers eye.

"So am I Sasuke."

Then there was darkness.
