The wind softly tousled her blonde hair as she looked at me with tears in her eyes.I will miss those gorgeous, glowing, hazel eyes. Her smile, her laugh, her kisses. When I think of her it just makes me smile. This will be the last time I will see her for a while. She stands on her tip toes and leans into kiss me, she presses her lips against mine in a gentle yet powerful way. Tears fill my eyes as I think of leaving Sara.

Sara has been my girlfriend for 2 weeks. The best 2 weeks of my life. I have been running my entire life and look at me now im running, away from the one thing in this world that I love. SARA. Sara is my world, my life, my heart! She is the reason that when Henrie, my guardian, died I kept moving on!

"john? Don't cry, I'll see you soon, don't worry, we'll find a way to be together" she says softly as she looks deeply into my eyes.

"I know, I hope" I choke back tears.

"okay love birds, one last kiss, we have to go" six demands. Sara presses her tear satined face once more to mine. One last time, one last moment.

"go! Fight bad guys and come back to me. . . . alive!"

"okay, I love you!" I whisper as I break away from her.

" I love you too" the words just hang in the air as I stumble towards my best friends Sam's car. He is sitting in the front seat staring and drooling as number 6 puts her helmet on and gets on her bike. I think he has a thang' for her. "Sam start the car" I say so that Sara doesn't see me cry anymore. Sam starts the car and looks at me as if to say "are you okay dude?" but he already knows the the answer to that, no. I watch her figure get smaller and smller in the rear view mirror. Tears roll down he rperfect face and I take one more mental picture. "stop!" I say.

"what? What do you see john?" Sam says as he slams on the brake. Six hears the slam of the break and the squeal of tires, she turns and stops to look whats going on,

"we have to get Sara! She has to come with us!" I say.

"what? Are you mad? She can't come! You'll see her again" Sam yells at me as run run back to Sara.

"what are you doin?" Sara asks when I approach her.

"Taking you with me," I say, "I can't live without you!"

"oh john, that isn't gonna work, what about my family?" she says with a sigh.

"just. . .i can't live without you!"

"No, no, no, don't tempt me! I can't and you know that" she pushes.

"Come on Sara, your always saying how you wanna leave this place, but you never do so here's your chance! Take it!" She sighed and finally looked up and nodded. She seemed unsure but I knew she would regret not going.

"I hate you," she teases.

"what's going on here?" Six demeands. "Sam said something about Sara coming with us?"

"yea. . .six. . . she has to come" I say nervously.

"NO! john can I speak to you in privately" six says through gritted teeth. I look at sara and she gives me an encouragement nodd to follow six. Now you have to understand that six is a very intimidating woman. She is like, like, like a god damned. . . . GIRL! A girl with SUPERPOWERS.

"She can't come, period, end of story" six pushes

"she has to, for my sake"

she'll get in the way and we'll have to worry about her safety too"

"no you won't" sara cuts in. apparently she was eaves dropping on us! How cute is that! "I promise I will stay out of the way and just be there for support and because I love john" six gives me a stern look and then proceeds to say,

"fine" Sara kisses me in excitement and she hugs me so tight she never seemed to let go.

"wait, what about my stuff?"

"you can borrow some of my stuff" six says and winks . and that is how our adventures begins!
