Nightmare Foxy sang a short verse to himself from inside the closet. It was so quiet in this little realm that he called his home, so peaceful, so...warm? The nightmare turned his head, raising an eyebrow as he saw the other next to him.

"What are you doing in my closet?" Nightmare Foxy questioned flatly at the slender like figure looking at him with surprise.

Nightmare Marionette crossed his arms before smiling forcefully at the fox. "Hiding from Nightmare Mangle and if I'm not mistaken that's what you're doing as well."

The Nightmare gave a huff before leaning in closer to his friend. "There's something wrong with that lass, she follows me everywhere."

Nightmare Marionette gave a slight nod, his two pinprick eyes lighting up the closet. "She creeps me out."

Nightmare Foxy looked over Nightmare Marionette before raising both eyes in surprise. "Lad have you looked in the mirror lately?"

"Please I'm not that creepy." Nightmarion replied, giving a wide smile to show off the thin needle like teeth within.

Nightmare Foxy facepalmed before turning his head slightly to the side. "I'm starting to become paranoid, I hear that mangled animatronic's static everywhere nowadays."

Nightmarion chuckled before stiffening. "Umm...I hear it too."

The two nightmares paused making eye contact as they held their breath.

"Please tell me this is one of your jokes." Nightmare Foxy asked, pleading frantically with his eyes at the freaked out puppet.

"It's not me," he whispered back.

"You two are so cute together", hissed a feminine voice from the other side of the closet.

Nightmare Mangle purred loudly as she let the darkness fade away revealing her broken form. She smiled at the two nightmares, showing off her collection of sharp teeth. "Let's see, which one of you should I eat up? You're a rather pretty fox, perhaps I should play with you first." Nightmare Mangle giggled staring at the two, unblinking.

Nightmare Foxy and Nightmare Marionette were huddled together, trying not to show their fear, but failing miserably. "Get us out of here!" Nightmare Foxy shouted into the other's ear.

Nightmare Mangle screeched and pounced clawing at the empty air. She was too slow, they had gotten away from her yet again. That puppet was rather good at teleporting, good at running away. The nightmare sighed collapsing on the floor, looking into the darkness. Tears ran down her face as static erupted from her voice box. "Why do they always run away?" I only want to play with them, only want to tear them apart until they know my pain."

Nightmare Mangle dug her claws into the carpeted floor. "I only want to be loved, only want someone to share this pain and sadness with me. Do they remember who we once were, do they remember that we were once made up of flesh and bone and blood?"

Mangle gazed at the closet door where a few weak beams of light shone through, and smiled, letting the darkness conceal her like a blanket. She would make them remember who they once were, would make them remember what they did. Nightmare Mangle felt the streams of tears fizzle and fade away, she smiled.

"You broke my heart so many times, now it's my turn to repay the favor, now it's time to follow my never ending rhyme." Nightmare Mangle giggled, with static corrupting her voice, she just couldn't stop laughing.
