It was a normal day, just like any other day, the adephagos was destroyed, Rita was a member of Brave Vesperia and just like on any other day she was stuck in her research.

Well she was, since all of a sudden Raven was standing in front of her door.

`Hello Rita darling. Ya alright?´ was what he said

`Old man? What are you doing here? Get lost!´

`yeah sure. What do… hey have you been drinking?!´

`Nah, I only had one bottle. Nothing special.´

`You've got to be kidding me. You don't smell like that from only one bottle.´ she said, turned around and went back into her room to continue with her research.

`don't cha think ya should take a break every now and then?´ Raven asked as she sat down at her desk.

`I don't need a break.´

`Everyone needs breaks, even the genius mage Rita Mordio.´

`Says who?´

`Me´

`And I say I don't.´

*sigh*

`You're as stubborn as ever.´

`Whatever. You mind going now? I've got to work.´

`Well, that's too bad but I already promised Estelle ta take ya with me.´

`You did WHAT?!´ Rita cried as she turned around to face Raven

`I promised Estelle ta take ya with me.´ he answered casually.

*moan*

`Great. In other words , if I'm not going she'll come here to see if I'm alright.´ Rita said the moment she placed her head in her hands.

`So are ya comin' with me or not?´ Raven asked after a few seconds of silence, when he brought his alcohol bottle to his mouth so he could drink.

`You're drinking again? You know that that's not good for the heart, don't you?´

`Aw, don't tell me ya are worried 'bout this old man are ya?´ Raven asked with a smile on his face.

`I'm not worried about you!´ Rita cried as she turned away to hide the amazing shade of red which could be seen on her face now.

`No way don't tell me the genius mage Rita Mordio is embarrassed!´ Raven asked with played shock.

`What the… I'm not embarrassed at all!´ Rita cried without noticing that Raven was getting closer.

`Ya know, there's another reason for me being here.´

`Another reason?´ Rita asked as she turned around. As soon as she noticed how close raven was she wanted to back off on instinct, but Raven was faster and put his hand around hers.

`Hey what…´ but she was interrupted as Raven pressed his lips on hers. She closed her eyes to fully give in to the feelings which now flowed through her.

She tasted the alcohol on his lips.

And she could still taste it when his lips let her go and she opened her eyes.

3…2…1… BAMM

`Ow, ya didn't have ta hit me ya know!´

`Why did you do that?´ Rita asked with confusion written all over her face. When Raven answered her it wasn't anything she would have expected.

`Cause I've been wantin' ta do this for a long time.´ he answered her with serious eyes. Ritas face again showed a bright red colour and she turned away, but not without taking Ravens hand and saying: `Took you long enough. Idiot old man.´
