Catch Me When I
Fall

"Give it up. There is no way you can win." The demon says to the badly wounded Tsuzuki. The purple eyes shinigami yells, "No!"
"Fool!" The demon attack Tsuzuki. Bykko charges toward the demon and bites on the demon's neck. The demon screams in pain and turns into smoke.
The exhausted Tsuzuki falls onto the ground with a loud thud. He wants to get up but he is too wounded to do so. "I should be able to get up in a little bit." Tsuzuki thinks as he closes his eyes to wait for his strength to return. While he is resting, the purple eyes Shinigami hears someone laughing at him.
"Hahaha!"
"Hahaha!"
"Hahaha, what a klutz."
"Stop laughing at me!" Tsuzuki shouts. He opens his eyes and sees that it's only his imagination.
"I'm in pain…" Tsuzuki murmurs. He struggles to get up, but he is too weak to do so. Tsuzuki groans frustrated and tries harder but still fails. Lying on the ground reminds him of all the times people laughs at him when he falls. They just let him lies there and make fun of him without even realizing that they are hurting his feelings.
"Don't you care how much it hurts me when you laugh at me?" Tsuzuki shouts.
As the wounded Shimigami continue to lie there, more bad memories come and haunt him. He remembers the times when he was a little boy, other kids used to chase him until he fell down. They then threw stone at him while calling him monsters and demon.
The memories are so intense Tsuzuki seems to feel rocks hitting his body. He shouts, "stop it! Stop it! I'm human! I'm human!"
"Tsuzuki." Hisoka gets next to the fallen Shinigami.
"Hisoka. You're wounded." Tsuzuki says. Hisoka was fighting with other demons and was injured.
"I aren't hurt as bad as you." Says Hisoka as he helps his sweet-loving partner up.
Tsuzuki looks at Hisoka. The boy's face is cold as usual, but there are worries in those beautiful green eyes. Tsuzuki can see no teasing and laughter coming from Hisoka, only concerns.
"Are you okay?" Hisoka asks, try not to show how worry he is. Yet, Tsuzuki knows; he can hear how anxious Hisoka is just by the tone of his petite partner's voice.
Hisoka's worries touches Tsuzuki's heart. Tears come out of the purple eyes. Hisoka is even more worried now, "Tsuzuki, are you wounded really bad?"
Tsuzuki can't hold it anymore. He hugs Hisoka tight and starts sobbing. The petite shinigami can feel tears wetting his honey-blonde hair. Slowly, Hisoka wraps his arm around Tsuzuki's waist. Tsuzuki rubs his tear-covered face on the Hisoka's silky hair.
"Thank you, Hisoka." Tsuzuki is still sobbing, but there is a small smile at his lips.
"Come on, let's go back." Says Hisoka.
Tsuzuki wobbles a little and Hisoka holds him up, "Don't worry, Tsuzuki. I will catch you if you fall."
