The Infamous Prototype
Chapter 1: The New Mission

One early morning at 6 A.M Cole McGrath awoke with the sound of his phone.
Cole: Whoever you are. This better be good.
Moya: Hello to you too Cole.
Cole: Moya? What do you want this early in the morning?
Moya: I have a job for you. Come meet me at the bridge.
Cole: ughh….can't it wait?
Moya: If it could then I wouldn't have wasted my time.
Cole: *groans* Fine.
Cole goes to the bridge seeing a familiar sight.
Cole: What happened this time Moya?
Moya: I'm having problems keeping my job. They want to replace me and this is the only way. And who better to help me then the famous Cole.
Cole: You missed the part where it benefitted me.
Cole turned and was about to leave.
Moya: I thought you would say that. This is why it will help you too.
Cole stopped and turned back.
Cole: Keep talking.
Moya: We found information about your parents.
Cole looked at Moya a bit shocked.
Cole: my parents? Where are they?
Moya: They are at the very place where the mission is.
Cole: Oh great….
Moya: will you go?
Cole: It's really not an option anymore.
Moya: Come meet me at my office at 5 P.M for the briefing.
Cole: All right.
Cole goes to the rooftop and saw Zeke on the couch.
Zeke: hey man, where were you?
Cole: Moya called me. She wanted my help.
Zeke: Screw it man! It's not worth it!
Cole: I have no other choice. My parents are there.
Zeke: Oh Sh*t. Well count me in too then.
Cole: All right. We have to meet Moya at 5.
Zeke: ok, I'll go with ya.
Cole and Zeke go to Moya's Office at 5 P.M
Moya: and why have you brought this clown with you?
Zeke: Hey!
Cole: He wants to come too.
Moya: Well too bad. He can get killed, or worse jeopardize our mission.
Cole: What is the mission first?
Moya turns off the lights and turns on the projector.
Moya: The place where you have to go is Penn Station. About a month ago, the people began turning into these animal sort of things. We think it might be because of a disease or a virus. The city is complete chaos. Your objective is to find the source of this disease and put an end to it.
Cole: Is there no cure for this virus?
Moya: Not really. This virus is unique. It turns people into these zombies or whatever you want to call them. But it also enhances their strengths causing massive destruction.
Cole: So we can get infected easily.
Moya: pretty much. Just do not let them take you down. And your friend might have a problem staying alive there.
Zeke: I will not. Just let me go.
Moya: Whatever. Go for your own risk. I prefer you not returning anyway.
Zeke: ouch. That's a little mean sweetheart. *laughs*
Cole: when are we leaving?
Moya: Tomorrow at 7 A.M. The sooner you get there, the better.
Cole: And my parents?
Moya: You will need to find out on your own, Cole. We know they are In Penn Station, but not their exact location.
Cole: You're a great help.
Cole and Zeke leave the office and go back to the rooftop.
Zeke: Are you sure you're ready for this man? I mean this place seems very dangerous.
Cole: I have to Zeke.
Zeke: ok, if you say so.
Cole and Zeke sleep and wake up at 7 A.M. Moya calls Cole.
Moya: Are you ready?
Cole: Yeah.
Moya: All right. I'm sending the chopper.
Cole and Zeke get on the chopper as Moya explained everything to Cole.
Moya: Good luck, over and out.
Cole and Zeke exit the chopper onto a roof of a house.
Zeke: Well this is somewhat like home.
Cole took the communication devices just in case he needed to speak with Moya or Zeke.
Cole: I better begin looking around to see how this city is.
Zeke: Ok man, be careful.
Cole: Yeah, you too.
Cole jumps off the rooftop and went further into Penn station. He saw the city was in complete chaos.
Cole: Clean place.
Suddenly a herd of infected civilians charge towards Cole. Cole charges his electricity and hits the civilians. They all fell one by one.
Cole: what a warm welcome by our loving neighbors.
Cole went further and saw a building covered in red. Followed by a loud roar.
Cole turned to see an infected hunter charging at him.
Cole: Oh crap.
He charged his electricity and hit the hunter constantly. However, the hunter did not stop. Cole jumped out of its way dodging its continuous attacks.
Cole: argh! Why won't you die?
Cole shot a shockwave sending the hunter flying back. Yet it did not still give up.
Cole: Have it your way then.
Cole Shot a grenade at the hunter as it attached to the hunter. It exploded as the hunter fell.
Cole: You're a tough son of a bi-
Before Cole finished his sentence, he heard more loud roars as six hunters appeared into plain sight.
Cole: Uh oh…This is bad….
