My Last Breath

Bakura's P.O.V

This is it... My death is upon me.

I lay in your arms bleeding heavily, fighting a losing battle to stay awake. I don't fear death, after all I've been through, I welcome it. Its you i fear for, my love. How will you cope without me.

I know you will... after all your stronger that i, but i do not wish you to despair.

If you can still hear me through our mind link, my light. Please understand that this is what i want, to be free from my past and pain. You hold me tight as my breath slows, desperately begging me to hold on, although you know its futile. The coppery taste of blood lingers in my mouth, as i use my last breath to whisper to you my goodbye.

Even as i fade to dark, i can still hear you calling me, pleading with me to stay. I'm sorry. I wish there was another way, but there isn't. So farewell my light, my love. May we meet again in the next world. Maybe then we can truly be together .
