Lily sat under her favorite tree; it was next to the walloping willow. It was dark out had to be at least midnight, she could tell by the full moon that was about to come up. Lily loved the full moon and seeing as how she was head girl she would take the opportunity this one time to enjoy it. Then she heard voices in the silence.
"Prongs, what took you so long?" she recognized the voice of Sirius.
"Sorry, I had to get Peter to stop eating all the leftover pudding he found" James said looking at Peter.
"It was good, anyways you guys ready," Peter said.
"Yeah, oh James remember the idea I had this morning about Snape coming and seeing what we were doing well I decided to let him come tonight so we can get him off our backs." Sirius said.
"What! Sirius he's going to know that Remus is a werewolf and that we are animagus." James said as if he were about to kill Sirius.
Lily was completely surprised at this no wonder they always knew a lot about animagus. "Well I wanted to get him off our backs" he said.
"Sirius he could get killed!" James said he was freaking out and Lily could not blame him. Then a sneering voice rang though the air. (Can voices sneer)?
"Well Black lets see what you dragged me down here for" the voice was from Snape. Who was looking at the four. Then the full moon came out, and then Remus turned into a werewolf.
"Sirius and Peter hold him off I got to get Snape," James said. Then Sirius and Peter turned into animals, Peter turned into a rat and Sirius turned into a big black dog.
Lily could not believe what she was seeing. Well those two tried to fight a werewolf. James was trying to get Snape out of harms way. Snape though was frozen in shock and not moving. Giving up he turned into a stag and tried to get Remus controlled. The werewolf managed to get rid of James and Sirius.
The werewolf headed toward Snape. James who already had been cut to where he could hardly stand managed to turn to a human and save Snape's life. The werewolf hit James with his claws instead of Snape.
Lily could not stay hid any longer she ran out and fell down by James side.
"James, James, can you hear me? Come on breathe!" she said.
He opened his eyes and whispered, "Lily, how long have you been here?" she lifted him up and hugged him.
"I have been here the entire time."
"Are you ok?" he said.
"Yes" she said back helping him up. He couldn't even stand without her holding him up. See looked back to see Sirius had the werewolf under control.
"We have to get you to hospital before you die you've lost too much blood come on" she helped him walk to Madam Pomfrey. The two walked in silence with Snape who was being levitated by James.
"What happened to you now Potter." She said looking at his wounds some of which were very deep and very messy.
"Oh you now just falling down the stairs of the astronomy tower," he said looking as sweet as possible. "Potter you must be careful this is the forth time this year". She said getting all sorts of potions for him.
"Lily I need you to promise me something" he said looking her in the eyes.
"What" she said. "You can't tell a single person about tonight and about what you saw." his eyes were serious and she could tell that he meant every word.
"I won't, I promise," she said. He leaned back took his potions and fell asleep. She watched him and stayed by his side the hole time
The next morning came and Sirius, Peter, and Remus came to see James they found him and Lily fast asleep. The shock was that Lily was holding his hand her head was on his shoulder.
