A/N: Stupid plot bunnies! This one kept me up all night until I wrote it down. Ok, Ok, it's a stupid title, but I came up with it at one o'clock in the morning.

Learning New Truths

Harry leaned against a column, hardly to believe that the battle was over. He watched as the students walked past with their parents – because of the battle it had been decided that parents would pick up their children at Hogwarts, rather than meeting them at Kings Cross. He spotted Malfoy walking by with his mother, although Lucius Malfoy was nowhere to be seen. The sight of Narcissa Malfoy brought Harry's thoughts back to the woods, where she had lied to Voldemort after he told her that her son was alive. With out even realizing what he was doing, he hiss Malfoy's name. Draco's head whipped around. When he saw who it was, he growled "What do you want?"

"I just want to tell you something – its about the battle" Harry saw Narcissa's eyes widen, and he knew she realized what Harry was planning to tell her son. Then she gave a subtle nod, silently giving him permission to tell her son what had happened in the forest.

"Fine, what?" Malfoy snarled as he walked over.

"After Voldemort tried to kill me he asked your mother to check if I was dead –"

"If you're calling my mother stupid!"

"No, I'm not. Let me finish. Anyway, she came over and realized pretty quickly that I was alive. But instead of telling Voldemort that, she asked me about you, she asked if you were OK. I told her you were, and she told Voldemort that I was dead. She might have been a Death Eater for quite a while, but when it came down it, she – like you – figured out what really mattered, and I think the two of you together should be able to talk your father around. I just thought you deserved to know what happened, and that both you and your mother helped to take down Voldemort."

"And you're telling me this because…"

"Because if you work together the two of you should be able to talk your father around, and because I think you deserve to know."

"Fine. Now leave me alone!" with that, Malfoy stalked off.

A/N: OK, so maybe there is a little OoC-ness, but whatever, like I said, I wrote this in the middle of the night.
