'Are you alright, miss?' Gionna hears someone say, jumping slightly because of the accent. Hove Beach was mostly controlled by the Russian Mafia and Gionna's affiliation with the Pegorino and Leone families made things tense between the Russians and Italians but she looked at the stranger as he put his hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

'It's been one of those days.' She says as he sits next to her, handing her a tissue.

'I've been there but something upset you enough to come here and find some peace.' He says as she takes the tissue and dries her eyes. Gionna got a quick look at him and noticed that he's not much older than she is and seemed gentle, despite his rough exterior. Most of the guys she met in the city were creepy.

'I...i just picked the wrong night to go have some fun. Some guy grabbed me and i slapped him. He punched me right in the face and forced me to my knees so i stabbed him where it hurts.' Gionna says, seeing a smile on this stranger's face.

'He got what he deserved then. No one has the right to force you to do anything that you don't want to do.' He says, seeing the bruise on her face when the moonlight peaks out of the clouds. 'It's a little late for you to be out on your own, especially with what just happened to you. Is there somewhere safe that you can stay tonight?' He says.

'I have a friend who lives in Bohan, i should be safe at her place Mr..' Gionna says, slightly hesitant. She was still rattled from the incident at Comrades bar but tried to rationalize it by telling herself that Vlad got what he deserved.

'Faustin. Mikhail Faustin.' He says before they stand up, the younger girl relaxing because of his gentle voice. For some reason, she found a Russian accent soothing when the person wasn't screaming at her and calling her a Sicilian whore.

'It's nice to meet you, Mr Faustin. I'm Gionna Cipriani.' Gionna says, shivering slightly from the bitter cold weather.

'Cipriani...cheerful and friendly. It describes you perfectly.' Mikhail says, making the young girl smile before she hails a cab.

'Thank you, Mr Faustin. I hope that we see eachother again.' Gionna says before getting in the cab and asking the driver to take her to Fortside.

'Be careful now, Gionna.' Mikhail says before the cab drives off.

The older man smiles, feeling like he helped someone innocent calm down and realize that she had to defend herself tonight and it was perfectly justified.

(I noticed that there aren't too many GTA stories involving Mikhail Faustin so i wrote this one because i wondered what he was like before his drug addiction and downward spiral.)
