The sound of the radio soothed me. Especially hearing the voices of Fred and George as I laid in the darkness of our tent.

"OUCH." My arm throbbed with pain after yesterday's activities of being splinched in the process of apperation. Not that anyone cared. It was rough being in such pain all alone, without Mom at my side, without warm clothes, and without the company of my two best friends, who even knew what they were doing right now. All I knew is I wanted them to come back, not just because of the locket burning into my skin; because of my strong feeling of exclusion, of being left out.

Why did I agree to this? I envied Ginny. She was probably eating a Halloween feast at Hogwarts, while I was sitting here, in pain, all alone.

CRUNCH, CRUNCH

I could here Harry and Hermoine laughing from a mile away. I looked out the tent flap to see the two of them having a great time. Harry had his arm around Hermoine as they trampled down the hill. They probably forgot I was even here, I thought to myself. That's me, the third wheel. I needed to set things straight. Either that, or I needed to leave. I pulled the covers over my head as they entered the tent.

"Ron's still asleep!" Hermoine said.

"That's all he has to do now. That lucky bloke doesn't even have to work." Harry replied with his sarcastic tone. "Whatever, more locket time for him."

A tear rolled down my face. Is this who they think I am? The extra weight that they don't need; or want for that matter.
