I had trouble sleeping last night because "There Goes My Life" was stuck in my head. So, I figured out a parody to the song. It may be a bit confusing if you read too fast, so just slow it down and think about it. I'll explain it all at the end if you still have trouble.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Ron Weasley (much as I'd like too) or Hermione Granger (ahh, the lucky girl), nor do I own the song by Kenny Chesney.
All he could think about was I'm too young to die.
Got my whole life ahead.
Hell I'm just a kid, kind of.
How'm I gonna tell her?
All he could see was her face, yelling up a storm.
So much for eloping, gee whiz, now they're toast.
Oh well, those plans are long gone.
And he said,
There goes my life.
There goes my future, and everything
'Cuz I won't last that long.
There goes my life...
A couple hours of thinking it through and a few phone calls later,
That mistake he thought he made seems like nothing, just look at her.
Oh yeah...He loves that Granger girl.
Momma's waiting to talk to him.
As he fumbles in the door.
She smiles up at him, no clue what's coming.
"So, Mom, I guess I gotta tell you this now."
He thinks...
Here goes my life.
Here goes my future, and everything.
"I love you, but listen, please."
Here goes my life.
She gave him that look, and he knew
It wouldn't end well, but then she began to cry, and said, "Well, good for you."
He hugged her, thanked her, went to Jared's, found his baby girl.
Said, "Hello. Bet you'll be surprised to know…"
And she cried.
So here comes my wife.
Here comes my future, my everything.
"I love you.
Baby, don't cry."
Here goes my life.
There goes my life.
Baby good-bye.
Okay, so, the deal is that Ron wants to marry Hermione, but he's afraid that because he's so young, Molly Weasley will kill him. So the first to verses are Ron's issues with telling his mother, with the chorus involved in that as well. Then, the third verse, or whatever it is, is Molly's reaction, approval, and Ron going off to propose to Hermione. The last bit, they're getting married, and she's walking down the aisle crying. The very last part is Ron after they get married, then Ron looking back on his life, and eventually dying, and saying goodbye to Hermione. Confusing, yes, but I thought it was amusing. ^^ Tell me what you think.
