A Thing To Know About True Romance

Chapter One

I was in love...once. I never really had a relationship after I met her. Her meaning

Mariah Carlson.

I couldn't believe of how in love I really was with her until she was gone.

This is a story about true romance, of how I recieved my first kiss and lost my
true love.

It was a dark cloudy day, as I walked with my friends Peter Petigrew, James Potter,

and Sirius Black towards Hagrid's hut.

"I'm cold" I heard Sirius complain.

"Padfoot" I said "You should of wore a coat"

"But I didn't want to!" he said. I rolled my eyes and we knocked on the door. I could

hear shuffling around inside and Hagrid finally opened the window.

"Ah the famous Marauders" he chuckeled "Come on in and have a spot of tea"

We walked in and sat on Hagrid's furniture.

I glanced around and saw a large book sitting on Hagrid's table. I glanced over at

Hagrid.

"Hagrid" I said "Can I take a look at that book?"

"Go ahead Remus" said Hagrid kindly.

I smiled and went towards the book and gazed at the title. A Witch On The Torch

"What is this about Hagrid?" I asked, flipping the book over so that I could read the

back.

"It's about a witch who was as they said it "burned" at the stake" said Hagrid. I gasped.

"That's horrible!" I said.

James looked at Hogrid, with very scared looking eyes for the first time in his life.

"T-They still don't do that don't they?" he asked.

"Not much" said Hagrid as the tea pot rattled.

James and Sirius looked at eachother and said "Much" in a unision.

Peter chuckled silently to himself and I began to read the first page.

Dear Diary

I looked up at Hagrid.

"It's a diary!" I exclaimed.

"Ah yes it is a diary" said Hagrid. "I found it very interesting to read"

"You read it Hagrid?" asked Sirius.

"Wow someone who read a book before Moony" said Peter.

We all laughed and my gaze went back to the book.

"You can have it if you want Remus" I looked up deeply touched.

"But Hagrid" I said "It's your book!"

"Not anymore" he said with a slight smile "Its yours now"

I gazed happily at the book and said "Thank you"

"Any time Remus, now here's your tea"

I sipped my tea and looked through the book. It had pictures of the girl too. My eyes

searched for the name, and I finally found it.

Kelsey Carlson.

Wait, that last name sound so familiar....I turned to look at Sirius.

"Isn't there a Carlson here?" I asked.

"Let me thank" said Sirius.

"Wait their is someone by that name!" said James.

"It starts with a 'M'" said Peter.

We all looked at Peter as though it was a mirical that he actually said something smart

for a change.

"It's Mar--- Something" said Sirius.

"Mariah Carlson" said a females voice, we all turned and looked at a beautiful girl with

long shimering blonde hair.

"Who are you?" asked Sirius in complete shock.

The girl smiled "I'm Mariah, Mariah Carlson"
