Once upon a midnight hazy
as I read, while going crazy,
ignoring sounds of angst coming from
that coffin right next door.
I continued with my reading
bits of madness seeding
as I poured over scientific texts,
quite a boring chore.
I came across names like Gast and Hojo
and learned about that awesome mojo
Mako, that makes ordinary
SOLDIER's into more.
Life force of the planet
Jenova tried to ram it
Shinra sucks it up and
constantly looks for more.
It really is a bother
having Hojo for a father.
Who is my mother?!
Jenova or Lucretia, I implore!
Promised lands the ancients sought.
A sickness Jenova brought.
It killed all of them off.
All in all, what a bore.
I know what I'll do damnit!
I'll become one with the planet!
And a god! Meteor and black materia
I shall require for my chore.
Off to the big reactor,
I steal Jenova (and compact her)
until the bastard, Cloud, "kills" me
