The Fashionable Alex Simworld Tour

Just arrived in Barnacle Bay, Simworld. It was a brisk day as the Bay is in the temperate zone of Simworld.
The plane from Bridgeport was an hour late, so we won't be able to take the tour of the town like we'd hoped.
The town is very nice. It's an old seaport, as you probably guessed. Their main attraction is an old pirate ship that grounded there centuries ago. It has since been renovated into a popular restaurant.
We, Fashionable Alex, are playing there tonight. That's me Alexa, my sister Anna, and our pal Nolan.
We just have this afternoon in Barnacle Bay, then it's on to the next town for tonight's show.

We're on board the Ocean Lily. It's a nice cruise ship that travels from Barnacle Bay to Isla Paradiso. They asked us if we'd mind playing a lunch gig. Sure, we told them. Why not? They're paying us for it, and we're not above a little paid practice.

Cruise ship crowds are much different than our usual crowd. A lot of older people. So naturally we had to play a different set than we're used to. Still it was a good time and all the old gents and little old ladies seemed to enjoy the selections we picked out for them.

The show was great. We played this resort, The Island Mist. Beautiful view of the beach. The crowd loved us. I think they especially loved that calypso version we played of our song Sweet Lady Gray.
Wish we could stay here, but we have to take a ferry to the main island and catch our plane to Monte Vista in the morning.

Just arrived in Monte Vista. The place looks rather quaint from the plane. A nice hilltop citadel with old fashioned houses that look like something from two centuries ago. I have to go, though. Anna and Nolan are waving to me that our bags have just come off the carousel.

Just a quick entry. We're on our way to the pub for tonight's gig. Wanted to say that they named this place perfectly. The view from the hilltop where Anna and I were practicing for the show was stunning. Very inspirational. I think I even heard Anna sneak in a few extra notes in one of her instrumentals.

Wonderful show. The patrons of the pub really enjoyed our music. A few of them apparently have one of our albums and were singing along to our better known tunes. Some sang pretty well. Others… well there's a reason that not everyone has an album out.
We'll miss MV, but that's what touring is like. You never really get a chance to enjoy a place. Next year we're going to come back to a few of the places we've visited just for a vacation.
