She smiled as she looked back on the memory. She actually started to giggle while looking at the picture. It had been two years ago to that day, and she still remembered it like it had happened only minutes ago.
She had Sesshoumaru had been out Christmas shopping, like usual, and she'd gotten cold while they were out in the market place. Her teeth had actually started to start to chatter she was so cold. Sesshoumaru had looked at her and sighed before saying, "You need to remember your own scarf once in a while…" Then he draped half of the scarf that was around his neck around her shoulders as well.
It simply had to have been fate that is 16 yr old niece was also out shopping that day and had snapped a picture of them. That had been her Christmas card to them that year. To say the least, he had been less than thrilled. But she loved the shot and was glad it had been captured on film. She sighed as she put the picture back in the photo-album and put it on the shelf.
She jumped when he wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered in her ear, "You always have to look at that on around this time of year don't you?" She smiled and spun around in his arms kissing him lightly on the lips. "Of course, it was such a cute picture." She said brightly. He sighed and pulled her closer as he whispered in her ear. She giggled and suddenly hoped that Rin had gotten another shot of them some way or another.
She smiled inwardly to herself and went to the next room with her husband and began to wrap the gifts…
