Little drabbly summer!thing inspired by conversation. Just decided to jot it down and post it up so that I can actually seem semi-active. This is me trying to write fluff. The reason it's so short is because I ended up choking on it.
Seriously, I've got to stop writing nothing but Naruto!fics.
Five months ago, he laid next to her.
Sakura's eyes fluttered open at the sound of his heartbeat, and she said, Stay with me for the summer. We'll have good times, and bad times, and we'll fall in love with each other.
Sasuke said Yes, that sounds like a good idea.
He cancelled his plans with his family.
He cleared his schedule for the next few months.
He forgot about his estranged brother, if only for a moment.
For her.
Three months ago, she laid next to him.
They were quiet for a while.
Then he broke the silence by saying, I think I might love you.
It was just him and her, trying to breathe.
No one else.
She replied, I think I might love you too.
Then, his world fell apart.
His brother turned out to be the hero, but he found that out too late.
His family was, in actual fact, nothing more than a group of power-hungry people who still believed in their own superiority.
His life had turned out to be a lie.
He screamed at her.
Shouted at her.
Vented out his anger and frustration through her.
She screamed and shouted back, her infamous temper flaring up.
But in the end, she was still there.
It's summer now.
He's here and she's here.
The bad times didn't get the best of them.
They fell in love.
