Screams rang through the arena as blood was spilled. This was the first match in what was then known as Purdis Tredicim but now known as Arena 13.
The arena was made after the demons captured the town of Bascalium. People dream tof taking it back but now even doing such was forbidden. Purdis Tredicim was built by the lord demon who still reigns today. Many don't know his name for rumors state that even saying it out loud would summon him from the depths of their cellars. His name shall be revealed soon for I the teller of this tale know his name. The real reason it was made though was to give the demon lord a form of entertainment and the fact that humans were quickly increasing their population made it harder to keep them under control.
The arena has 100 levels and after each 9 you have to fight a level demon. Barely anyone makes it past level 9 so people avoid battling once the level has been achieved. Why? Because it is a death match and the demons make sure that no one makes it past except for those who have the skill to beat them. The down side is whichever way you kill them due to their heritage their bodies will just regenerate.
There is one way though that a legendary arena fighter named Hob found out could permanently kill a demon. Sadly, records of how to do it have been lost over the last 13 centuries.
Recently rumors started to circulate of how a boy of 16 years found the way to kill a demon forever and his name was surprisingly the same name as the son of the demon lord. Well it was Lucius

Hello! Thank you for taking your precious time to read my story which is probably going to end up as a piece of shit. They will be barely any author's notes so no need to worry your ass off. Updates will be happening mostly on Saturdays cause I am a lazy asshole and the word count is 5000-?. So be expecting long shitty chapters. You, my dear reader are probably wondering why the prologue is so fucking short but that is due to the fact I wanted to give readers a taste of what it will be like but not to the extreme(its not even a 1000 words).
