"Emerging Shadows"
The radio buzzed erratically as it hung from Ginga's waist. He grabbed and held it there for a moment before speaking, the object vibrated as soon as the redhead's words began to roll off his tongue.
"In-spec-tor!" The radio pulsed, the tone making Ginga distance himself. "Inspector Hagane!"
The redhead fumbled his other hand in his pocket and took out a Rose brand cigarette before tucking it in the crevice of his slightly darkened lips while fumbling in his pocket again. "Yes, yes?" He groaned, his voice a bit muffled. "What is so urgent that you must—"
"It's Kyoya, sir!" The radio hummed. Ginga's eyes widened a bit but he soon lowered them and sighed before lighting his cigarette with a Zippo that same Kyoya had bought him.
"Kyoya, you say?" Ginga inhaled a puff and blew it out. "As always, he's proving to be a troublemaker." he began to strut towards a nearby maroon-colored Mustang; his very own off duty vehicle. "We've been far too lenient. Today is one of Justice." He echoed into the radio before entering the car, starting it up, and driving via GPS to his agent's location.
The Mustang howled against the road and grumbled at red lights. Ginga put one hand on the top of the steering wheel with his cigarette still flowing smoke.
"That DAMN Kyoya." Ginga gritted his teeth. "You'll never learn..." the light then turned green and the redhead stepped on the gas pedal with a force of frustration. "...will you!?" and sped down the road.
He slowed near a dirt path as his GPS indicated he was no more than twenty feet away from the agent from earlier. "What the hell? This can't be right," he picked up his radio and clicked it on.
"Agent Moonbeard, come in." Ginga spoke, but received no timely reply. "Agent Moonbeard!" He called out again.
"Well well well. It's soothing to hear your voice again." A different voice spoke– this was not Moonbeard. "This one got a bit... redundant, after a bit." Ginga gritted his teeth again and slammed his fist in the steering wheel.
"This is just lovely." Ginga hissed in frustration. "I
suppose I'm the idiot for sending one mere Agent against the Lion Beast himself."
"Right, Kyoya!?"
