I felt gentle breeze tickling me on my cheeks and playing with my hair, eager to take off. I clenched my staff a bit more tightly and called: „Hey, wind!"
The wind grew stronger in response.
„Take me home!"
I smiled wildly and was carried away in a second. The city, a small lake, forests – it was all under me. The sky was clear and the stars shone even more brightly than usually. And in the middle of them all, enormous silver Moon had his place, looking after all children of the world.
I left the warmth of the surface, but the cold never never bothered me anyway. After all, I was the personification of fun and winter itself.
Lights signifying a small town caught my attention, so I landed on one of the roofs, looking around the neighbourhood. And then, in one window, I saw her.
The gentle blonde with emerald eyes, whose infinite golden locks were whipping behind her as she was dancing barefoot around her room. The beautiful girl that was once mine and now is not.
I decided to do anything to get her back when I lost her. And although many told me I would find her one day again, when I finally did, I've never been so surprised in my life.
