Welcome Back People, here comes the trilogy
It's been a wild month for Tails, he had asked Amy Rose on a date, from there things just hit off, despite his original concerns, Tails found that he is perfectly capable of being a good boyfriend.
Tails and Amy originally dated just to make their friendship stronger, then they dated to see if they can be a couple, now they date because they have officially labeled each other as, boyfriend and girlfriend.
The moment Tails told Amy he wants to be romantically involved with her, it was arguably the happiest Amy's been in a long time, while she originally imagined this moment with Sonic, it happening with Tails proved to be a whole lot better, for one major reason, Tails, unlike Sonic, is a good combination of sensitive so she can have a nice meaningful talk with him, not to mention that he's very sweet and understanding, but tough too.
Though let's be honest, Tails isn't the strongest fighter physically, but rather fights with his wits and brains, though Tails has no problems getting physical if he has too, he wouldn't let anyone hurt his girlfriend, not that she couldn't handle herself for the most part, in fact having a boyfriend like Tails encourages Amy to try and be a little tougher since she doesn't want him to constantly have to deal with things on his own, he's tough but too nice sometimes, luckily they rarely have any problems, Eggman's been AWOL for a while, the only major issues they've had are dealing with Knuckles & Rouge, both who like to tease the young couple, some even question it's legitimacy, a relationship formed out of pity due to Amy's unsuccessful hunt for Sonic and Tails' general lonliness.
What makes them perfect for each other however is that nothing was rushed, Amy, unlike her attitude with Sonic, never tries to pressure Tails about marriage or sexual activities, well she does think about the latter a lot, they're fine with their relationship at the moment, but they also know when the time comes, both would be ready.
Speaking of Tails, he is now at home, touching up on his physical appearance, he and Amy were gonna go for a little roller skating in the park.
"Another date, another good time", Tails grabbed a comb, "Hm, should I comb my bangs? Probably not since Amy says they make me look cute, then again maybe I should go for handsome...eh, if it ain't broke", Tails tosses his comb, "Don't fix it".
Tails then realized he tossed his comb on the floor, "Wait I need this comb, why did I toss it on the floor?"
He picked it up and washed it a bit before putting it away, he put on his hood that he got with Amy, then made his way out the house.
On the way to the park where he was supposed to meet Amy, he ran into Sonic.
"Yo Tails, what's up? Going for an 8 Mile jog?" Sonic asked.
Tails facepalmed at Sonic's joke, "Really?"
"Take a joke little guy"
Tails sighed and shook his head, "Sonic I'm not exactly 'little' anymore, that was funny when I was a little kid, but I'm not a little kid anymore"
Sonic chuckled, "Sorry, force of habit, so where are you off to Not so Little Guy?"
Tails looked at Sonic like 'dude really' but waved it off and answered, "I'm meeting Amy for a date"
"Wow, you've been dating Amy almost every day now"
"Well she's my girlfriend, when you started dating Sally you spent every moment with her as well"
"Well technically we were in battle together and she was my commanding officer so..."
Tails waved his hands in a 'no' fashion, "That's not the point, the point is that you spend a lot of time with her, I'm sure if it wasn't for the many battles you would have dated her"
"Well technically she didn't always like my idea of a date so..."
Tails facepalmed, "Nevermind, I don't know why I'm trying to talk romance stuff with you considering you and Sally were an on-again, off-again couple"
"She had commitment issues"
Tails looked at Sonic as if to say 'Are you serious?'.
"Fine I did, but she didn't really handle it well"
Tails deadpanned again, "You're an idiot"
"Don't make me dump you in a garbage can"
"Don't make me give you a beating like I gave you at that prison"
"Hey I went easy on you"
Tails scoffed, "I seem to recall you saying that you wouldn't take it easy on me"
Sonic put his fists up, "Yo bro, you wanna take this outside?"
Tails put his arms out in a 'here we are' motion, "We are outside"
Sonic groaned, "Do you take pleasure in making me look like a fool?"
"You really don't need me to make you look like a fool"
Sonic sighed and smiled a bit, "You're a really witty kid"
Tails smiled as well, "And you're one class act Sonic", Tails held his fist out, "Fist bump?"
Both did the fist bump motion, "Boom!" then chuckled.
"Head on out little buddy, have fun", Sonic said.
Tails nodded, "Thanks" he then walked off.
Sonic chuckled, "You're really growing up Tails, proud of ya"
Tails made his way to park where Amy was waiting.
"Amy, I'm here!"
Amy turned and saw Tails, "Oh Tails, you're here", she greeted him with a kiss, "Glad you made it"
"I always make our dates"
Amy nodded, "Yes you do, and you're a great boyfriend because of that"
They both put on their skates and started skating across the park.
"Tails, question for you"
"Shoot"
"What's your reaction to how others see us as a couple?"
Tails looked confused, "That's one random question Amy"
"I just need to know your stance"
Tails could see Amy was serious so he gave his best answer, "Amy I'm aware of what some of our friends are saying, truth be told I don't care all that much if they like it or not, I'm with you because I want to be, don't let anything Knuckles says get in your head, or Rouge, people will say things but all that matters is what I feel, and I feel that you're a great girlfriend"
"Wow, very sweet, a little sappy, but I like sappy sometimes, especially when it's you, it sounds cute when you say these things"
"I know", Tails grinned.
After awhile skating Tails had an idea, "Hey Amy, this feels kinda slow, wanna speed things up a little?"
"You mean have sex?"
Tails blushed, "I meant the skating!"
Amy giggled, "I know, I just wanted to see your stance on that too"
Tails groaned a bit, "Lets not rush into that part Amy"
"Don't worry, I won't pressure you...too much"
Tails face palmed, "Either way, do you want to speed up the skating?"
Amy nodded, "Sure thing"
Tails grabbed Amy's hand and used his twin tails to propel the skating and make them moved fast around the park.
"Wow, this is fun!"
"Hang on tight, if you let go it's gonna really hurt!"
Amy held tight as she skitched with Tails, passing by various pedestrians before reaching back to their original starting point.
"Wow, that was fun!" Amy said.
"Glad you thought so", Tails said.
"That sure was something, you really know how to show a girl a good time...so you wanna come to my place? So I can sow you a good time?" Amy winked seductively.
Tails did a nervous chuckle, "Sure thing...but what do you have in mind exactly?"
"Oh relax Tails, I figured we could watch a movie and I could make you some food", Amy spoke low, "Maybe even a make-out session", then loud, "Nothing much?"
"What was that last part?" Tails asked.
"What last part?" Amy asked, obviously feigning her curiosity.
Tails gave a dead-panned look, "Wow...anyway I'll go, I do enjoy spending time with you"
"Same here, though who wouldn't, you're very likable"
A voice nearby said, "That's very hard to believe"
Tails and Amy turned to see who the voice belonged to, though it wasn't someone either of them wanted to see.
"Fi-Fiona?" Tails stated.
Fiona Fox held her arms out, "Did you miss me?" she had an evil grin on her face.

Fun Fact: When I read Fiona's lines in the comics, I read them while imagining Grey Delisle's voice, AKA the voice of Azula from Avatar.
