AN - Welcome! This is the written version of the events from the new Super Smash Brothers game for the Wii U! I've had this idea for a while, and I just wanted to get it out before someone else did. If someone else is doing something like this, I had no idea; I'm not trying to copy anyone. This is my own idea.

Anyways, I have a lot of other stories going, this will be something I update whenever I can; No set updating schedule. Also, most of the events will be relatively short, so don't be expecting them to each be the length of a short novel or something crazy.

Also, this will only be the events for the Wii U version. I don't have the 3DS version.

Also, this will be both solo events and 2 player events, because it's more fun that way XD

Rated T because I don't know how future events will go.

The quiet was always nice. For one as well-known as him, whenever peace and quiet could be found, he'd jump at the opportunity.

Mario sighed contentedly, staring up at the galaxy from his cozy spot on the Mario Galaxy stage. Even though it was only a replica of the original, it was still as peaceful as the one it copied. The plumber would remember his adventures in space whenever he visited the stage, and his thoughts wandered freely.

Mario lay in the grass, hands behind his head, when it happened. Two loud thudding noises jolted him out of his quiet reverie, and the plumber jumped to his feet. Standing before him on the stage were two people he knew very well, though one of them made him extremely uncomfortable.

"Bowser? DK?" Mario questioned the two smashers standing before him, Italian accent thick with each word. "What are you doing here?"

The Koopa King in question laughed in quite the evil way (like the evil turtle he was), with DK joining him in the cackling.

"No, really," Mario said again, scratching the back of his head confusedly, "what are you two doing here? And why are you laughing maniacally along with Bowser, DK?"

"Why," the ape said menacingly, "I am here to avenge my great grandfather, Donkey Kong the first! I don't exactly know what the teenage mutant ninja Koopa is doing here."

"Hey!" Bowser scoffed indignantly, "I'm not a teenager! Then again," Bowser flicked his hair back with a swish of his head, "I do look quite young for my age, don't I?"

"Not really," Mario mumbled under his breath, but the two unexpected visitors ignored him.

"I am here," the Koopa King posed as epically as possible (though it wasn't very epic), "to vanquish my longtime enemy, Mario!"

Donkey Kong grunted, "But I'm here to take him out, too! That's the only way to avenge my great grandfather, Donkey Kong the first!" A brief pause, before the ape added, "May he rest in peace."

Bowser scoffed, "After Mario got through with him, it's more like pieces."

This started an argument between the two heavyweights, whilst Mario just stared up at the galaxy replica, mumbling under his breath about how his two enemies were such idiots, and why couldn't they be more like Ganondorf (his game would be much more epic that way). Finally, the plumber got tired of their antics, and cleared his throat, effectively silencing them.

"If you want me," Mario said tiredly, holding out his hand and wiggling his finger towards himself in challenge, "then come and get me."

Both Mario Bros villains briefly glanced at each other, before launching into battle with the mustachioed plumber.

Mario sighed, easily sidestepping a direct slash from Bowser before grabbing him by the tail, swinging him around, and tossing him towards the edge of the stage.

While Bowser took a second to recover, the plumber glanced to the ape, who had stayed back a moment to charge up one of his powerful punches. Mario walked over and waited a moment, until DK tried pulling off the punch. A quick swish of his yellow cape, and the punch was wasted on thin air. The plumber delivered a swift kick to the temporarily disconcerted Donkey Kong, who face planted into the ground.

"Oy," Mario muttered at the two idiots who were failing miserably at their attack, before spinning around at the sound of stomping feet. Stomping Koopa feet, to be more exact. While the plumber had his back to Bowser, the King had come back full vengeance, and was now charging one of his devastating drop kicks. Mario merely yawned, jumped behind the Koopa, whose attack was wasted on no one, and charged one of his own smash attacks before sending the Koopa King flying. Surprisingly, Bowser was KOed from that attack.

Before Mario could even marvel at the attack that sent one of the heaviest smashers flying so easily, he was distracted by DK coming up at him with the intent to grab. The grab was easily sidestepped, and Mario used the same smash attack on the ape, also sending him flying off. Mario had defeated them without taking any damage from either.

"SUCCESS!" The easily recognized sound of the announcer echoed through the stage (though Mario had no idea why he said 'success' instead of 'game' like normal), and the plumber was left alone on the stage once again.

"Well, not that that wasn't fun or anything…" the plumber said to himself before laying back down in the grass, staring back up at the starry night sky. And then something dropped from said sky onto his face. "AGH! What the…? Why did a pair of Fire Flower Overalls just drop from the sky?!"
