Hylian Temriel
Before the story begins I want to tell how the world of loz fits in the elder scrolls world.
There 2 plot holes accrue when you combine these 2 worlds, story and gods.
For the story. It's the following:
During the events of ESV: Skyrim, Skyrim became independent from the empire and was soon followed by Highrock (Hammerfell was already independent and was so cut off from the rest of the empire) .
Soon after that, Skyrim declares war with Morrowind over the Island Soulstein. This was followed by Hammerfell taking advantage of the distraction by taking land from Cyrodiil.
The emperor decided that Cyrodiil was more important to keep and stopped supporting the war for Soulstein.
Feeling betrayed and insulted Morrowind torn his back to the empire. Meanwhile High king Ulfrick came with the idea to create Nordic empire and joined Hammerfell in the attacks on Cyrodiil.
Whit Hammerfell having concord the Cyrodellic coast and both Nords and Redguards standing before the Imperial city's front door. The Thalmor became desperate. And forced the Argonians from Blackmarch to join the fight and attacked them when they refused, bad idea.
The Argonians killed everyone who came nearby the border. These huge losses not only caused the thalmor to lose the war but also caused Valenwood and Elsweyr to leave the altmery dominion.
To avoid a war between the 2 allies, Hammerfell and Skyrim decided that Cyrodiil would still be ruled under an emperor.
But after a few generations an emperor turned his back to the divines and started to devote to Daedric worship. Causing an invasion by Mehrunes Dagon A.K.A. Demise.
This invasion is the invasion of darkness mentioned on the beginning of loz: skyward sword.
The actual story take's place somewhere between minish cap and four swords adventure in the loz timeline. But it doesn't really matter
As for god's it's the following:
Thanks to the lack of contact whit the other countries and divines Hyrule only knows about a select few and worship's them under different names.
