Okay, I know it has been awhile since I posted a story so I want to make this one as long as possible. It is obviously a Tratie fanfic and it is based off of "Forever and Always" by Parachute.

Chapter One
Katie sat at the kitchen table of her apartment, her ADHD beginning to get to her. She checked her phone for the time. 8 o'clock. She let out an annoyed sigh; Travis was supposed to be here over an hour ago. She was used to him being late. He always was but never this late and she always got a call from him. She walked over to her window which overlooked the street and looked for his car. Nothing. Katie sent Connor a text asking if he has seen Travis and of course he hadn't. "Great" she mumbled to herself "Just great." She shook her head in annoyance and walked back to the window and continued to watch for him. As she went to check to her phone, an unknown number called. "Hello?" she answered.
"Hello, is this Ms. Katie Gardener?" a female voice asked.
"Yes, may I ask why you're calling?" Katie responded.
There was a pause and then finally the women said, "Ms. Gardener, there has been an accident with Mr. Travis Stoll and you need to get to St. John's Hospital as soon as possible"
Katie's heart started to pound and she felt her throat closing "Wh-Why?" she managed to choke out.
"It's best if we speak in person" the woman answered quickly. Katie kept silent, unable to answer. "Ms. Gardener? " the woman asked several times and then the line went dead. Katie's mind started racing and she began to ask herself a million questions. What happened? Is he alright? Has there been some mixup? Then finally, "Is he dead?" No, no. He couldn't be dead. She almost collapsed on the kitchen chair. She propped her elbows onto her knees and placed head in her hands. She couldn't leave just yet. She had to collect herself. She opened her eyes into her hands and caught glimpse of the diamond on her left ring finger. Suddenly, it was December again.
Katie worked on cleaning the kitchen, still fuming from her and Travis' fight, while he tried to apologize. "Katie, c'mon" he begged.
"Just shut up Travis" she said tossing a bowl into the sink with a clank.
"Katie" he reached for her hand but she just pulled away "Just look at me"
"Travis, just no. This is the second year in a row you forgot our anniversary" she snapped.
"I didn't forget! Would you just look at me?" he said, a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"What the he—" she turned around but couldn't finish her sentence. Travis was on one knee, with a small velvety box in his hand. "Wh-What's this?" He grabbed her left hand and looked into her eyes.
"Katie, I did not forget our anniversary. I wanted to surprise you. You know I love you. You are the only one that I want. Forever and Always. I want you. No matter what. Whether it is good, bad or ugly. I just want to spend the rest of my life you. So Katie Gardener, will you marry me?" Katie's eyes were welled up with tears and her right hand covered her mouth. She nodded and Travis slid the ring onto her finger. He stood up, threw his arms around her and gave her kiss. "Forever and always" he murmured into lips.
