AN: Just a little one-shot of Kol's view of women during the 21st century. Enjoy!

Kol smiled. He loved the year 2012, simply because of all the women. The thrilled vampire took the last sip of his alcohol and proceeded to the dance floor, picking out a female who he would use for all kinds of pleasure.

Kol woke up from the sudden movement he felt next to his chest. The girl he met last night was getting dressed.

"Get cleaned up. All that you remember was sharing an amazing night with me, nothing else." She continued to the bathroom to wash off the dried blood from where her skin once had bite marks.

"I'm Jenny."

"What a lovely name." He replied, with no interest.

"Thanks." She smiled at him brightly.

'She thinks I'm being sincere. Poor thing.' he thought.

"So..can I get your number, or something?" He heard her heartbeat raise and walked up to her, rubbing her arms.

"Don't get me wrong, Jenny. You were entertaining.. at the time. But, quite frankly," He tilted his head, "you have nothing else to really offer me. I think it's best if we just continue on with our lives, forget about this arrangement." He turned away and went into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him. He heard her scoff and mutter under her breath.

"Jerk." She hurriedly made her way out his room and collided into a muscular figure wearing only a towel.

"Whoa. Sorry about that."

"Sorry? Please. Both you and your roommate are jokes." She quickly made her way out of the dorm room. Kol heard a knock on his bathroom door. He opened it with a toothbrush hanging out of his mouth, only wearing his boxers.

"So, want to tell me what that was about?"

"Apologies, Jeremy. You know how girls love to make a scene." He walked to the sink and rinsed the toothpaste out of his mouth, placing his toothbrush back into a cup.

"Normally there's a reason behind it." He chuckled at his roommate as he left to his room.

"Oh please. She brought it on herself, practically seducing me on the dance floor. She seemed quite willing considering she had no idea who I was." Kol shouted after him. Both got dressed, Jeremy heading out of the dorm before Kol, him leaving shortly afterwards.

"I'll take a cheese danish, oh and add some of those puffy pastry balls." Kol sighed. He was still adjusting to everything.

"I think those are called cream puffs, but puffy pastry balls works too." He turned around and set his eyes upon a redhead. The color was exquisite, one unlike he had rarely seen. "So, I take it you're not from around here?"

"More than you know." He chuckled.

"What is your name? If you don't mind me asking?" He looked at her questioningly as she sighed.

"Oh, but I do. Your orders ready." She pointed past Kol's ear. He collected his food and once he turned around, the girl was talking to another worker behind the counter. Kol walked up to her.

"It's only a name."

"Yea, but then you'll want to talk, and next you'll ask me for my number, and then comes the dating.. and I don't do dating." She patted him on the shoulder as she reached for her coffee and began to leave the cafe.

"So what is it you do, do?" He walked with her.

"Not talk to strangers. This is where I go. Nice meeting you." She began to enter into a car.

"I hope to see you again."

"Don't think I can say the same." She got in her car and drove away. Kol stared after her until she had disappeared from his sight completely. For once, he was actually interested and would find out her name, whether it was the last thing he did.
