AN: What I think happened after the events of Bespin.

The first line is from Prayer of the Refugee by Rise Against.

Don't. Own. It.

Don't hold me up now, I can stand my own ground, I don't need your help now, you will let me down, down, down…

She lay on the floor crying, not caring. No one was going to find her this time. He was gone, taken from her like everything seemed to be.

Lando had promised they'd find him, but they had left her behind, not allowing her to help.

She screamed wordlessly, unable to put words to her emotions, to her pain.

She hadn't been able to find anything to help put her to sleep, and the droids in the med bay wouldn't give her sleeping pills so she knew she was doomed to dreams like always. But now he wasn't here to protect her from her demons.

She slammed her fists down on the floor as fresh tears came, feeling like she was going to be sick again.

Rieekan sighed.

The poor girl, he hoped she was okay.

Leia had looked okay last he had seen her, but that was when she was helping Luke to the medbay. Now she had disappeared. Mon had wanted to question the girl but he had told her to wait and had eventually convinced her.

Now Luke Skywalker stood in front of him, wanting to know where Leia was.

With another sigh he told the boy that he didn't know and watched him leave to search elsewhere.

Rieekan stood to go find the Rogues and make sure they kept their mouths shut.

Luke looked at the woman – no, more of a girl it seemed - that lay on the floor, thrashing around, trapped in a nightmare. He wanted to help her, but he knew he couldn't. There was no comfort he could offer her, if he could even wake her.

He longed to wake her up, save her from the torture her mind put her through every time she closed her eyes.

As he watched her, unable to help his conscience tormented him, telling him this why Han had always found her instead of him, because he couldn't help her, Han could.

He turned away, leaving the room. There was nothing he could do.
