Chapter 1 – The Aftermath

I woke up half on the sofa, half on the floor. What the fuck had happened the night before? Chris and Pj had fallen asleep hugging each other on the other larger sofa; a faint smell of sick and Malibu hung in the air. I slid off the sofa onto a dizzy seating position on the freezing cold laminate floor, it was only then I realised I wasn't wearing any pants. "Phil?" I asked sounding weary and confused. The taste of vomit lingered in my mouth like the way the internet lingered with slash fanfics. I brought myself to stand up and look around the bottom floor of Casa de Cherimon, as I rose a headache swept across my head and pained me to squeeze my eyelids shut and grip my teeth; I stumbled and fell over a shaggy blue mess on the floor. As I stood up again the mess moaned and wriggled, "Dan? What the fuck, get off me?!" The blue mess arose and I realised it was Tom Milsom. "Oh, sorry..." I slurred "What happened last night?"

"Honestly? I don't have a fucking clue." We both stood there for a moment staring into nothing before noticing the two dark figures lying on top of Alex and Charlie's now fallen fridges. Tom and I slowly and cautiously made our way towards the pile of burst coke cans and Lurpak butter smeared across the kitchen floor; as we got around two feet away we realised it was Charlie and Bryarly, both passed out on top of the rubble. "Shit." Burst out Tom, what even happened with them? What on Earth were the two young lovers doing? We each grabbed a hungover vlogger and used up what energy we had to drag them onto the less painful sofa. "You stay here with them until they wake up yeah? I'll go see if I can find anyone else?" I informed Tom and he replied with a slight nod before pointing at Chris and Pj, still hugging each other asleep on the sofa. "What am I supposed to do with them?" asked Tom, "Just leave them, they look comfy enough." I said with a wink as I swiftly left the room to venture the rest of the house and attempt to find Phil.

The stairs looked like a challenge themselves. I still hadn't taken any paraceteamol yet so my headache hit my brain as if I was standing in for a kick drum. I stumbled up the steps; one by one until I found floor 2.
