I watched as my sister cut off most of here hair
And some said she looked like a bear,
Although it took for me some time to see,
She looked ever so fair.
I watched as my sister grew older,
And I thought she would grow colder,
Although it took for me some time to see,
I could still kiss, hug and hold her.
I watched as my sister started high school,
Which I thought was very cool,
Although the work was ever so hard,
There were lots of bys to drool.
And now my sister is nineteen,
She will no longer be a teen.
Although it took me some time to see,
She is not a princess, but for now, she is a queen.
