The Origin of the Nosebleed in Amine

As many of you will know, in anime, a nosebleed is a sign of perverseness or male arousal. Why? Miroku. Short, pointless, and funny.

Miroku, as most know, is a monk, but so perverted, he can't go long between gropings. This was highly irritating to the main source of his attentions, Sango. Sango, of course, found this so annoying, she'd hit him. Once, after he was found spying on her bathing, she hit him in the nose, breaking it and causing a nosebleed. After this, he didn't lay a hand on her for almost two days. Taking this as a sign from the heavens, Sango was sure to give him a nosebleed every time he did something perverted. It became so second nature, that after nearly a year, when he did something perverted, he would get a nosebleed. After the defeat of Naraku, and the subsequent marriage of Sango and Miroku, the nosebleeds did not stop. If anything, they increased.

Now, because Sango and Miroku had, according to some sources, as many as 24 children, including at least two or three sets of twins and triplets, and each of those, and many generations after, had the same nosebleed reflex, and, because the family reproduced like rabbits until it was the norm to have much smaller families(even then, they often had at least 4 or 5), it is difficult to find someone in Japan who doesn't have some relation to the monk. Now, this reflex had become so ingrained in Miroku that, to this day, when a man gets aroused in an anime, they get nosebleeds.

So, the next nosebleed you see, say 'thank you Miroku, now we know that that guy was sneaking a peek and can clobber him.

There you go, short and pointless. Hope you enjoyed and R&R!
