"You're disgracing this family!" Percy Weasley yelled at his father. A vein throbbed in Arthur's temple.
"You need to accept that You-Know-Who's back!"
"All in need to accept is my soon-to-be promotion in the Ministry, which I will never receive if I stay here amongst traitors!" Percy pulled out his wand and Apparated with a crack.
Molly and all of the other boys that were home crowded around Arthur, trying to calm him.
But Ginny Weasley sat at the table, fists clenched and face white with fury, a furious gleam in her coffee colored eyes. She shoved away from the table with an abrupt, jerky motion. Without any of the family noticing, she climbed the stairs to Percy's room.
The third oldest boy of the Weasley clan crouched in front of his battered wardrobe, shrinking clothes and tossing them into his suitcase. He turned with a start when his door creaked open.
"Ah, Ginny. I'm sorry to say that I have to leave, but I do regret removing myself from your company seeing as I am the only good influence you have…" Percy trailed off when he saw the look in his sister's eye. It was a look he had only seen two times in his life.
An angry fire, snapping in her eyes. It crackled and burned, leaving no room for doubt that one Ginerva Weasley was ready to murder.
"Ginny?" Percy asked, a tremor of fear in his voice.
WHAM! A fist landed on his right eye with enough force to make him stagger backwards and see stars.
"How dare you!" Ginny shrieked. "How dare you say those things? You know just as well as I that Tom's back, and hiding behind your pathetic excuse for a boss is just cowardly!"
Another fist landed on his jaw line.
"I don't see why Dumbledore made you head boy! I thought that prefects and heads were supposed to be good examples of their house!" There was a thundering of footfalls as George raced into the room.
Seeing Ginny about to strangle Percy, George grabbed her arms and held her back. She struggled and kicked out at Percy.
Ginny quieted as George forcibly removed her from the room. "You know, you are a perfect example of the house. You're a perfect Slytherin."
It was the tone of voice that made both boys stop and look at her. She didn't sound mad, just… disappointed.
Percy sniffed disdainfully. "I'd rather be a Slytherin then poor."
Ginny smiled weakly, sadly. "You keep telling yourself that, Percy. One day you might even believe it. And once that day comes you're dead to me. For good. And I won't mourn."
After that she allowed herself to be dragged from the room. George kept a hold of her arms and took her to the twins' room. Scorch marks scattered the floor, and old test products were strew on one side of the room. George sank the floor, leaning against the doorway.
"What was that?" He asked his baby sister. Ginny had calmed and looked tranquil now. She grinned.
"That was me actually mad for once in my life. You've said yourself I don't have a redhead's temper. That's what happens because I don't blow up like all you guys except Charlie and Dad." She closed her eyes and flopped backwards onto the bed.
"Ginny, remind me not to get on your naughty list."
"George, don't get on my naughty list."
