Konnichi wa! This is a KyoXTohru fic but the pairing shown by the characters that make an appearance is ShigureXAkito. This is NOT yaoi because of the manga (which I recommend!) and it contains some spoilers so if you haven't read the manga- DON'T READ THIS! For now, I don't own this (cue sad face) only the fic's storyline. There are 141 words (I think) and it has been beta-read off this site. Enjoy!
He Won
Akito whirled around to face the window, putting Shigure behind her. "It's impossible. That nezumi would never have let him get away with it."
"It's true. He's beat Yuki-kun."
The Sohma's God turned with an icy glare in her eyes and an iron bite to her words, saying, "So why hasn't he come boasting to me?"
Shigure smirked. "He doesn't know it yet himself."
Akito lunged at him, enraged, screaming, "Do you not love me like you say you do? Is that why you play with my mind like this?"
He held her shoulders firmly, his eyes fairly begging her to understand. "Of course I love you! I'll always love you! And that's exactly it!"
"Exactly what, inu?
"How he won! Kyo-kun beat Yuki-kun because he won Tohru-chan's heart! Tohru-chan loves Kyo-kun."
Akito sadly kissed Shigure's smiling lips.
"...Then he is free"
