"Class today we shall do patronuses!" Professor Pocknoll said. The class exclaimed in delight. "The incitation for this spell is Expecto Patronum! And your wrist movement should be like this. To create a patronus one must concentrate on an extremely happy memory" Pocknoll said. He demonstrated it.
"Sir what is the use of a patronus?" Sirius asked "It drives the dementors away." Pocknoll said briefly. Murmurs broke out. "We shall do it in pairs. Mr. Black and Miss. McKinnon!" The two came forward. After 3 tries they were able to conjure patronuses. Both were the same. A big dog. The dogs glided toward the door and disappeared.
"Ms. McDonald and Mr. Roberts!" After 2 tries they were successful.
"Mr. Potter-"the girls of the class held their breath (excluding lily) "And Ms. Evans!" Lily groaned and got up. "Ready?" Pocknoll asked "Yes" was the reply he got. He waved his wand and both of them yelled at the same time "EXPECTO PATRONUM!"
To Lily and the class' amazement a stag from James' wand and a doe from Lily's wand emerged. It glowed brightly. The two animals padded towards each other and the stag bowed his head. The doe kept its head on the stag and the patronuses vanished.
The class was shocked. Lily was shocked too. What was that?! She thought. The bell rang and Lily ran. Faster and faster she did. James waited for some time before following her.
Lily stopped in front of an empty classroom. She looked right, then left. Forwards, then behind. Then she walked in. A mirror was there. Lily walked towards it then gasped in surprise. Lily was not standing there….. Alone. James had his arm around Lily and she was resting her head on his shoulder. Both looked equally happy. "Are you there Potter?" No answer. She turned to her left side and waved her hand nothing. Lily sighed and went on something. After some time a voice interrupted her thoughts "Merlin you run fast Evans! Who would have thought finding you here?" Lily jumped and looked behind "James!" she exclaimed in delight. James who was trying to walk towards Lily slipped and fell. "James?" he said weakly "you called me James, Lily?" "Yes I did" Lily said as soon as she realized what she said. He got up rubbing his back and walked towards the mirror.
"Do you see what I see?"
"What do you see?"
"I have my arm around your waist and you head is resting on my shoulder. We look very happy, very very happy. "
Lily stared at James then to mirror. "I love you James" she said softly. She rested her head on her shoulder.
"Repeat that I think I misheard it!"
"I love you James" she said louder. She looked at the boy beside her. Again a voice interrupted her thoughts "Help me Merlin! Who knew this brilliant witch could have taken 6 years to realize her love for me?! Lily laughed. Her laugh sounded like bells tinkling. Lily thought that James looked adorable when he was extremely baffled. And then it happened abruptly. Lily kissed James. Passionately. Merlin who knew that this witch could kiss so passionately?!
I seriously did not know what was Sirius and Marlene's patronus so I made it up :p
