Knock, knock let him in,

His fun has just began,

Mika had just gone to bed after dinner with her family; she was tired but happy that she got to spend time with them. It seemed lately that something had been off about the house. When ever she was home alone, she felt like someone was watching her.

She knew it was probably just her imagination, but for the past day or two it had been more, real than before.

Of course she hadn't told her family yet, no that would have been unnecessary. It was just her imagination; it wouldn't be right to worry them over something so stupid.

Relaxing into her sheets, she just drifted off when she heard a shriek. Feeling nervous, but putting it off, she went back to sleep, only to be awakened this time by knocking at her room door.

Feeling scared and remembering the screaming from her dreams, she didn't answer; if it was her mother, she thought she had the key to her room, she would've let herself in, she thought.

Hearing the knocking reside, she relaxed somewhat, assuming that what-ever it was had left she threw off her blanket & sheets and shuffled over to where she kept her phone. Even though she thought whoever was knocking on her door was gone, she was careful not to make any noise.

As she dialed 9-1-1, she blockaded her window; she had an instinct inside her that told her that if she didn't something would happen. She didn't really like the fact that she didn't know what that something was…
