An interview with Harry Potter
Daily Prophet
Prophet: Mr Potter, thank you for granting this interview.
Harry: You are quite welcome.
Prophet: You defeated He-who-should-not-be-named as a fifteen month Old child. How do you feel about that?
Harry: I really don't remember it.
Prophet; In the aftermath our world lived in peace for over 13 years. What do you feel we should have done with those years?
Harry; Well the reasons he rose to power in the first place were never addressed during those years. Now that I finally got rid of him, I hope we can address those problems.
Prophet; What problems are those?
Harry: Pure blood bigotry, the hate of other races, the way we treat werewolves, much more.
Prophet; What of those who say, that is how it has always been?
Harry: We leave our world open to more Dark Lords. In this century alone we have had two. Both used that foolishness to build army's and destroy our world and peoples. Do we want to do this every thirty or so years. Or do we want a world where we all live happy productive lives? I for one want the latter.
Prophet; Your Girl friend Hermione Granger, advocates freedom for house elves. Do you!
Harry; I had a friend(A tear falls) Dobby. I helped free him at the end of my second year. With out his help we would not have defeated Voldemort. He gave his life, for our world. A more noble creature you could not find. Does he deserve slavery, for his sacrifice?
Prophet; They are happy this way.
Harry; I realize the have a symbiotic relationship with us. They need to bond to stay alive. Does that mean they should be hurting themselves for the smallest infraction, be beaten, treated like dirt. If they are with us they should be no different than members of our family. They deserve great respect.
Prophet: I can see you do want new attitudes. Do you think these things will happen?
Harry: I hope so, I'm not fighting another dark Lord for you all. If you want to hold to the foolishness in this world, there will be another.
Prophet; On that note one more question Mr Potter.
What of you and Miss Granger, are their wedding bells in the future.
Harry; We have not disgust it at this time. I will say, I don't see any other woman ever taking her place.
Prophet; Thank you for seeing me Mr Potter.
Harry; You're welcome.
