"Dinotopia's Easter"
FireBane snuck around before dawn placing eggs of various colors in the lawn of the Temple of Polemic. In a few moments, all would awaken to find loads of chocolate and goodies.
As he hid the last egg, he could hear Boojinko and Azonthus screaming over the chocolate bunnies. Hurrying back inside, Fire was met with the whole lot bouncing off the walls. Or flying around them, in the case of Highsoar. In the den was Booj and Azzy, screaming at each other over a pile of chocolate bunnies.
Now, sick of yelling, Azonthus back up and took a flying leap at Boojinko's back. She missed, and hit the wall. Shaking her head, she jumped again, and landed on his shoulders. Jumping up and down only served to frustrate the larger raptor. He growled and shook her off. Pulling out a bottle of SunDrop, Azonthus recharged and became more hyper. Frightened by the now hyper-pink raptor racing around the room, Booj grabbed a handful of bunnies and ran off.
Poor James Gurney was huddling in a corner, hiding his bunny, afraid of what he had created.
"Hey! Time to look for the eggs!" FB shouted at everyone, who abruptly stopped, dropped whatever they had and ran for the door. Trying to fit several dinosaurs through one door was difficult, if not impossible. With much pushing, shoving, and a few head-butts, they wedged through. Boojinko took advantage of the situation and took some more bunnies. Azonthus took back the situation and took more back.
In the yard, the dinosaurs were looking. Poor Bronty had found one....by stepping on it! Topaz and Highsoar had aerial views, but special eggs had been hidden for them. They were taller than the others. Azonthus had found the chocolate egg, but, for some odd reason gave it to Boojinko. Leafy swears it was mind control. She felt it, too.
All the eggs were found, plus one. It was the egg from last year that no one had found. That egg got thrown into the next yard. The poor occupants of Sauropolis Beach could not leave for a week!
Everyone settled in for a happy munch. A few hours later, the stomachaches set in and a few weeks later, the cavities came. That's another story for another day!
