This is kind of a chapter, so here me out...
After a lot of research regarding what I've written and the series, I've discovered some flaws. To be fair, I did just start writing last year. But I need to set the record straight about how my AU is differing from the series.
As you may have noticed, I started writing before Donnie discovered retro mutagen. In my AU, he has not had the time to discover it, therefore, April's dad Kirby is still a mutant bat. But in chapter 6 of "T.O.T. Settling In," I specifically called Baxter Stockman a "mutant fly." So in my AU Stockman is mutated, and so is Kirby.
But I know that in looking to future chapters, I want "Newtralized!" and "Pizza Face" to be part of the universe. "The Wrath of Tiger Claw" did not happen. This is a fact because I do not want Karai to know that Splinter is her father completely yet and is still debating her loyalty (but Leo did tell her in "The Manhattan Project). For the sake of making things a little less difficult, Tiger Claw is not dimension jumping at the moment. He made it back, is very ticked, and is still looking for revenge.
So, to wrap it up...Baxter is a fly mutant, and Kirby is a bat mutant. Every other episode up to "Pizza Face" is part of the universe, with the minor tweaks I made earlier. "The Wrath of Tiger Claw" did not happen, but Tiger Claw did make it back safe and sound (though still missing a tail :)).
