A/N: This actually comes from as a text exchange Kailene and I had weeks ago, in which I claimed a certain talent for…well, what I referred to as the four essential words groups. Kailene thought I needed to write them into a story because she thought they had Dean written all over them. I'm glad I waited for the write opportunity. Happy birthday, Fallenangel218. I hope this fits the bill. :-)
Summary: Dean thinks he has a thing with languages. Sam thinks Dean is mistaken. Dean has an opinion on what Sam thinks. Bobby thinks they're both idjits.

A Thing For Languages
"Sammy, I know languages," I say grabbing after the old book that has Sam practically swooning in geeky ecstasy. Seriously, that boy needs to get laid. Desperately. I mean, Dude. It's a book!
"What languages?" he crabs, slapping my hand away from his date.
I tick off my fingers, one by one. "Smart ass. Sarcasm. Snark. And sass."
"Those are not languages, Dean. They're attitudinal affectations."
Oooh, apparently Sammy speaks snark, too.
"Yeah, well...you're a…attitudinal pain in my ass."
"You two knuckleheads don't shut up, already" Bobby snaps. "I'm gonna attitudinally adjust you both up the side of the head."
