Ruto's Story

Chapter 1: The Egg.

"She's hatching!" cried The Queen of Zoras, Lilly.

King Zora sat next to his wife, smiling.

"Oh! She's completely out! How cute," he said.

King Zora didn't exactly have a name. Well, he DID have a name, but all the Zora's were to only call him King, Your Majesty, My Lord, etc, and his wife only called him things like dear, or honey.

So basically, no one knew his name, and no one knows if he's even got one. Some suspected that he was hiding something, others didn't even care.

The King was a big, fat zora, but actually also was a very good swimmer, like any other zora. But he can get a little slow on land, so he doesn't move much. He cares lovingly for his wife, and is probably one of the most friendliest zora's in his generation. He is friends with the Royal Family of Hyrule and the Sheikah woman, Impa, who was to be Princess Zelda's attendant when she grew up. The princess was only a few months old.

Queen Lilly was an expert swimmer, and had won five succesive zora swimming tournaments in a row. She was considered a champion and hero of the Zoras, and is very popular. Lilly keeps her trophies on display in the throne room of Zora's Domain. She is a nice zora, but can be angered easily. She is good friends with Princess Zelda's mother and father.

"I think I might call her Ruto," said Lilly. "That was my great-grandmother's name.

"Ruto is a nice name," agreed the King. "Well, little zora, I now officially name you Princess Ruto of the Zoras! You're gonna be great when you grow up."
