Val Jones was playing in her dad America's office when she saw that her ball had rolled out of the out of the office and she looked at America who was talking with his boss on the phone and she didn't want to disturb him so she stood up and she walked to where she saw it roll off to. Her older brother Owen was in the living room fixing up his lasso when he spotted his little sister walking to the basement and he smirked a little seeing her and he decided to go around and mess with her as he chuckled. "Um Val I wouldn't go down there if I were you little sis," he said with the same smirk on his face. Val stopped and she turned to look at Owen with a curious look in her eyes. "Why Owen?" she asked as curiosity gleamed in her big brown eyes as she kept looking at him. 'Man this is going to be fun.' Owen thought to himself as he looked at Val. "Well I heard that there was a monster living in the basement," Owen said, "and do you want to know what it eats?" Val was curious and a little scared at the same time as she gulped and she looked at Owen. "What does it eat?" she asked as she looked at Owen as she got more and more curious and scared. Owen smirked and he chuckled a little. "It eats little girls about your age," he said. Val got really scared and she started to cry. "Daddy!" she called out. America heard her and he got scared and he told his boss that he would call him back as he hung up and he ran to where he heard Val calling for him. "Where is the fire dudes?" he asked as he panicked as he looked around when he spotted Val crying and he saw Owen snickering. "Val sweetie what's wrong?" he asked as he picked up Val. "Owen is scaring me," Val cried. "How'd he scare you?" America asked. "He said that were was a monster in the basement that eats little girls like me," Val said as she sniffed. "He did WHAT?!" America said as he looked over at Owen with a glare. "Yikes," Owen said as he looked around as though he was going to run and hide somewhere. "Owen not cool dude you're grounded for a month. You can't go and scare your little sister with things like that," America said. "Sorry," Owen muttered as he looked down to the ground as America looked at Val. "Sweetie there isn't a monster in the basement that is going to eat you," he said as he tried to comfort her. Val was too upset and scared to talk as America shrugged and he walked off.
