Claire was shocked, but at the same time her heart was telling her it was right. She lifted her gaze and stared into his clear blue eyes, so lonely and unloved. She could fix him, he needed her, and she needed him.
Gently she lent forward and began to kiss him back. But it wasn't a sweet and loving kiss, short and light, like he had just given her. It was deep and powerful, fiery and passionate. She thrust her tongue in his mouth in signal that they could go to second base. His arms were around her waist, hers around his shoulders, both pairs of hands writhing and clawing at eachother's clothes. It felt sensational.Slowly he raised a hands to her her breasts and felt them. She however, went downwards and squeezed his ass.
"What the blazes is going on!" Their romantic embrace cut short by an indignant and fuming Charlie, who had just enteredthe tent with Aaron cradled in his arms. Claire and Locke shifted uneasily. Locke nodded at Claire and whispered, "I'll talk to you later, call me if he gives you too much grief. I won't be far away." And he left, but not before quickly pecking Claire on the cheek. Charlie watched him go, malice dancing in his eyes.
He lowered the baby into the crib. "Claire! What the hell's wrong with you? Are you completely insane! Letting that old git feel you up...what a total bastard!" Charlie ranted at her. Claire had never fel more hatred towards anyone than the hatred she felt towards Charlie at that moment.
"Stop acting like you rule my life Charlie! Or that you know what's best for me. I thought you were my friend, but you just think you own me. And don't you dare start slagging off John Locke. He is a greater man than you'll ever be and I happen to love him!"
Charlie glared at her. "You're bloody mad, you are. And he's in love with you I suppose? He's using you Claire. God, if only..." But Claire had had enough. "GET OUT NOW CHARLIE!" she screamed at him. "I never want to see your stupid, selfish, little face ever again, so you stay away from me and my baby!"
Charlie glanced at the crib briefly before nonchalantly storming out. Locke came back in at once. "Glad you two got that sorted out," he smiled kindly as Claire sank back into his stong, warm arms. "I love you John," Claire said softly, resting her head against his chest. "I love you too," he replied, before he lent down and gently put his lips on hers.
