Anju. That is all Soren can think about. He wandered around the park for a while. He was hopping to find her there. He thought he knew where she lived, but that cursed barrier! Then he saw her. He went over and saw she was with Elda, an old friend. He knew that it was going to hard to steal Anju, but he tried anyway. They noticed him but not who he was until he had Anju.
"Soren so called harvester of souls. I thought that you were sent to another realm," stated Elda.
"You know him!" yelled Anju.
"Yes. She knows me. I just about took her soul until she lied to me and said I could have the youngest of her grandchildren, and then she threw me into that wretched realm. I almost staved to death," explained Soren.
Anju was scared. This Soren person had a knife to her throat. He also had fangs. She thought that she saw a scar of a vampire bite.
"WHAT THE HELL!! WHO ARE YOU!!" yelled Ren.
"Mind your manners! I have some unfinished business to attend to," Soren answered.
Ren was held back by Elda.
"Come on, Elda! You don't want to have some fun?" asked Soren jeeringly.
"Why you—
"Yep! I thank you. I do believe you promised me her soul in exchange for yours or will I have to kill both of you?"
"What are you talking about human!" said Ren.
"But I am not human boy!" answered Soren, "Now who is going to die? You or her?"
"What does he mean?"
"He is a Stealer of Souls. He is the ultimate evil in necromancy. He was trying to become a vampire for me," replied Elda.
She was starting to cry. Soren almost dropped Anju to run to Elda and comfort her but he couldn't. He just couldn't. He wanted to but something was stopping him. Suddenly he collapsed. He couldn't feel. He couldn't think or do anything at all.
"Ugh. Why can't I move? This is nice. The pure bliss of nothingness."
"He is waking up! Why did he just collapse?" asked Elda.
Her voice seemed to be far away. It became clearer when he sat up. They told him that he was no longer a harvester of souls. He had been changed because of his connection with Elda. Anju wasn't surprised to hear that Elda had bitten him more than once, nine times in fact. He hadn't changed at all which startled Elda. Soren was still in love with her and now Soren was back to his normal self with a little change. He was a vampire. Now that he could be with Elda he stayed. His taste was anger.
