Lupin's Little Sister Chapter 1
"Why can't I come with you?" I asked my big brother. "Because you have to be 11 to go to Hogwarts: you're only 6," he looked down to me. I frowned as I cuddled up closer to him.
"Good night Ely." He kissed my forehead. I fell asleep fast tonight, oblivious to him getting up.
"Eleanor get your ugly arse down here!" my father yelled. I got up out of Remus' bed. I ran to my room to get dressed. I picked a nice dark blue button-up blouse with a long black skirt. I grabbed my socks, pulled them on, and slipped on my shiny jet-black Mary shoes. I stood, walking as gracefully as I could. When I stepped on the last step, my father slapped me. I curtsied, "Morning, Father," I walked to the vast dining room. I sat down next to my brother, who looks like hell.
"How are you healing?" I whispered. "I'm doing it myself," he leaned forward to eat. I picked my chair up to bring it closer to the table. I looked down to my oatmeal in disgust. I peeked over to Remus' pancakes, bacon, sausages, and eggs enviously. Before I even had 5 bites, our father told us to hurry up. I took one last bite and stood. He shoved us the whole way to the apparition point and grabbed our necks. I closed my eyes and held my breath.
Our father dropped us off at the Hogwarts Express. "Bye-bye Remus," I cried, hugging him tighter. "See you at Christmas Ely,"
"Promise me you'll bring friends," I looked up. "I'll try, if there isn't a full moon." He got on, but since we got there early he can find his own compartment. Randomly his head popped out and I rushed over. "Goodbye Remy," I cried again, almost pulling him out, "I'll miss you," I let go. I stood in the back of the station, watching families saying goodbye, mothers breaking into tears, and some kids without family. Just as I was about to leave, a couple walked over.
"Are you lost?" the woman asked. I shook my head. "Are you a witch?" the man asked this time. I nodded.
"Where are your parents" they asked at the same time. "At home," their faces turned to extreme levels of shock, anger, and pity. "I'm fine, I'm fine. My house is only a few blocks from here," I closed my eyes and smiled a cute smile. I started waving my hands in a, please go away, I'm fine, gesture.
"Who are you tormenting with your parenting ways now?" a boy with round glasses came around. "This little girl, here. Why don't you find a compartment." I started shaking with laughter, "Burn."
